At the moment a beautiful trailhound (7) called Shyla. Lost my old boy (he was 15) only a month ago and now waiting for a suitable Traillie boy to come my way as my girl is pining for a companion and I want a pair of traillies as I love the breed. They are great softies.
Never heard of a trailhound? Look here:

At the moment just Asbo-cat, rescued at 4 wks old now around 13, total nutter, has moved out of my bedroom and into the conservatory now the weather is more sunny.
When I win the lottery /work part-time/or retire I will have more, and dogs again.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
4 Chickens, Amber, Ruby, Gretel and Blackie. They were all 2 years old last February.
2 Guinea Pigs, Hannah and Chloe. They will both be five years old this August.0 -
A tabbie cat aged 13, quite grumpy and we have had her from a kitten. I adore her she is indifferent to me. She sleeps on our bed and gets us up in the night when she feels like it
A 9 year old flat coated retriever, who was rehomed to us when he was 5. A lovely lovely boy who is devoted to my husband. W had lost our old flattie and could not take on a puppy. We have completely bonded with him even though he was an adult.
Six bunny rabbits. One we found dumped near home, our neighbour found the remains of its friend:( The other bunnies are all from rescue centres. One pair had been in the rescue a long time and we took them as they were older and not especially cute so unlikely to get rehomed. They are so happy here now, it is especially lovely to see them hop out of the stable they live in then free range round the garden and then take themselves back in. Another bunny has only been with us a few weeks and had never lived with company or had more than a hutch to hop about in. Yet another bunny came a few weeks ago and has no front teeth but has settled in, eats grated carrot and has a husband for company.
4 chooks and a c o c kerell.
DD has a share of a horse0 -
Just 1 cat now, like to think her as a junior senior as she's around 13-14yrs.
Also have an unofficial 1/2 share on a horse.
Would like a dog but at the moment does not fit in with the lifestyle (as we're both working full time).
Might get a pair of kittens if the house move goes ahead as used to have 3 cats before.0 -
We have a rescue staffie who is just over 2 years old and we love to bits as she is so beautiful and loving.
A deaf rescue black and white cat who likes to go out every now and again but rules the roost and does exactly what he wants to do. He also have the loudest purr ever.
One fish in a tank and 6 koi carp in a pond outside which I inherited when I moved in this house.
I would love rabbits and chickens but too many foxes round here!0 -
Wow, so many people with such a variety of animals. I've only got the 1 dog now, Bailie, black Lab female. She's just had her 1st birthday. She may live to see her 2nd if she calms down a bit :rotfl:
For years I've had cats but lost my last one last July. I'd really love to get a couple of older rescue cats but Bailie chases cats so I don't think it would be fair on them. Maybe when she's a bit older and calms down a bit.
Some people only exist as examples of what to avoid....0 -
