Yeah that's probably what I did.
I don't measure sorry. And sweet potato in the mash is the bomb. I cook the mince in a pan on the stove, make the pash and dollop it onto a baking tray in person sized heaps, then cover in a sprinkle of cheese and bake for 10 minutes... Nom!!!

Don't apologise Lilty Lentil, the only problem was that it was so delicicious that after only 2 days it is all gone. My problem is that although I put carrots in my mince I only provided peas as an extra veg. DD loves cabbage, so I think a big bowl of that to go with it next time will mean, maybe less sheps pie needed.
Ps do you like my new word delicicious (delicious)? :rotfl:

I LOVE your new word. Jelly dictates the new words in our house. Denicious has been around a while, as has Grilliant. Today we got 'MAAAAAAZING' :rotfl:
I would consider that a super triumph. I put peas into my mince as well as carrotsGreying just gave a lovely recipe for cabbage on her dinner tonight! Steamed, then sauteed with a bit of butter and some caraway seeds and black pepper... Nom!!
Still trying to say delicicious...
Hugs to lovely Gibbywe are keeping your cuppa warm love xx

Little Miss Gap's words were funny when she was wee. Especially names: Grandad was Gagad (that was the cutest one), my sis's ex (Iain) was Eeoh but the funniest word was melamade. We were in a restaurant one time and the woman asked what she would like to drink. In the cutest wee polite voice of a three year old she said "Fresh orange and melamade please." No one corrected her and the waitress wrote it down with a serious face. So cute.

Awwww GAP - so cute!! Jelly calls my dad Go Go. We facetime a lot and she now says to my mum on opening the screen "Hellooooo nanny!! Where is he? Shout'im! Go Gooooooooooo!!!!!!!" All in a huge rush, no spaces. So comical. She too is very polite. I was literally crying at work the other day. Got this from Him:
*He is at the dentist*
"Huge waiting room full of people. Jelly keeps fluffing (our word for wind) and saying 'Pardon me! I pooed!' over and over. She must have done 6/7. I am facing away from everyone as we are at the megablocks table. I daren't turn around..."
I was crying so hard my mascara ran off my chin. I could hear her little voice.
Giblet I must insist you come back. It is no fun around here without you (and biscuits!) xx

That is so funny Lilt. Reminds me of a story my mum told me. When my cousin (4 years older than me) was about 3, my aunt (her mum) and my mum went to a restaurant (it's always a restaurant in our family - we don't eat out that much, honest!). The restaurant had leather seats. My cousin 'fluffed' and it vibrated very loudly across the seat. In the loudest voice ever (I am led to believe) she said "PARDON ME MUMMY". They were mortified so left without ordering. I think I would have just laughed but that was the 1970's so probably not as acceptable back then.
When LMG was just learning to talk, if she 'fluffed' she would say "padeyoo". She didn't pick up that it was "Pardon me" until a few years later. So funny.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh thats lovely GAP!!!
Jellytot used to say 'Pas de deux' in almost perfect french at first for 'pardon you' and said it everytime she or anyone else fluffed. Now she tells everyone Pardon Me even if it wasn't her. :rotfl: kids are awesome.
I've not been around as away but sad to see no Gib back yet.xx

Saw your post on here and got excited that Gib back. Hope she's okay and that her absence means a productive RL that we will hear about soon.
I love all the words. DD called Winnie the Pooh, wee wee poo poo for a long time. I couldn't correct her, it was so sweet.

:rotfl:awww wee wee poo poo :rotfl: that's really funny.
LMG used to say out loud "pardon you" to anyone who fluffed which was funny when they were trying to do it quietly but her ear was just at the right height to hear it haha.
