Hope your cold gets better soon.

Yesterday was definitely an isolated occasion! Its been cold and misty today
My cold is still hanging around, not helped by the fact that I accidentally took a night nurse capsule this morning instead of a day nurse  I felt like getting back into bed straight away as my brain was obviously not working even before I took it. I felt totally zonked all morning
Only 2 reports to write now :j:j:j But I do seem to have some kind of strain in my wrist from typing. Dr google suggested I stop typing and rest it for 48 hours :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hello
It was my birthday yesterday and I'm feeling a bit fed up about the whole thing. I really thought we would have started a family by now. I'm trying not to dwell on it though because I can tell my DH is disappointed too.
Anyway, we have been working really hard to get our house ready but there's still so much to do. We've decided to move in when it's just barely habitable because it is driving me insane living with my mum. She really is not an easy person to live with and I'm desperate for our own space. Luckily I'm getting quite good at getting up and down a ladder but I draw the line at a flushing loo :rotfl:
Going to try to sort out some paperwork now, it's threatening to take over

Forgot to mention, British G@s connected our new meter on Monday although it's not connected to anything inside the house yet. I had a quick look at the Cheap Energy Club and it looks like we could save a good chunk of cash when we switch. I've been holding off from switching our electricity supplier for a while as I wanted to get our gas connection sorted and do it at the same time.
I'm also looking forward to a nice refund too as we're using virtually no energy at the moment but still paying the direct debit. Just checked and we're over £100 in credit.

Hello
I'm feeling completely exhausted after working on our house for three days in a row. Today I had a good sort out in the garden and moved a LOT of timber that had come out of the house to make it dog safe. We definitely have enough wood to see us through the winterI just hope my accident prone pup doesn't hurt himself. I did my best to hide all rusty nails!
Our budget is all updated. I just need to ring the garage tomorrow and book the car in...again. Really hope they can do something about the leak, otherwise it's going to be very pricey. We also need to buy road tax which is £145 for the year and our insurance is due next month.
I've been stashing lots of pennies in the jar
I had some cash and a voucher for my birthday so I've ordered some things I've needed for a while from n£xt.
Finally, I've started 'Project declutter...again' as I'm beginning to think about packing up and moving again. I want to do it bit by bit and have started with the small drawers and top of the chest of drawers.

Hello
It's been a bit quiet around here recently as we've been so busy with the end of term and building work. We are now almost one week into the holidays and are still staying with my mum. My poor DH is working such long hours but everything takes so long when he's also working full time in his day job. I'm hoping we can get sorted in the next two weeks.
I haven't been much help this week as I'm enjoying yet another summer cold and cough! It would be easier if the weather was warmer or sunny occasionally but it's grey grey grey here at the moment.
I have
* fully decluttered and sorted all of our belongings at my mum's in preparation for moving.
* taken a bag of clothes to the chazza
* transferred yet more money to the building account and will need to save more
* renewed car insurance with same company for less than last year including legal cover and no claims protection.
* Paid for another year of road tax
Other than that I've just been researching materials ordering downlights, buying kitchen floor tiles, researching carpet etc
Off to catch up on some diaries

I feel like I'm on a roll now!
After much research, I have switched our phone and broadband from $ky to Plusn£t for £192.87. I have paid upfront and this is approx. half the cost of our old package. I should also get £50 cashback which makes it an even better saving! Only downside is we have to change our number but the only person who rings it is our elderly neighbour! I am concerned about by ability to learn a new number though :rotfl:
We will continue to use our sky tv package until we have watched all our saved programmes. My DH has a music video with his old band saved on the box which he wants to save somehow :rotfl: I plan to get a youview recorder box and start using that for new recordings until we cancel $ky. The one I've chosen is about £175 and will allow us to get Nowtv when we want to watch sky shows (we are addicted to Game of Throwns and The Walking Dead)
Although this will be expensive this month, we will have beaten the cost of Sky for a year in just over 6 months and then the box is ours to keep :T
My next step is to get DH to OK the box I have chosen then order that.
