Thank you
I'm in two minds about getting one of those. The nhs recommendation is just regular 'you-know-what' but that is not always easy when you both work long hours! I may get one when I get the next set of tests done and I know there is nothing physically stopping us.

:j Payday for both of us today :j Down a bit due to the strike day but I believe it's worth it.
All monies shuffled to their correct accounts
I seem to be doing nothing but spend spend spend...
A years road tax and car insurance paid for and an extra £600 transferred into our building account.
Our solid bamboo wood flooring samples arrived and are reeeaaally nice so I ordered the living room flooring and underlay late last night as I was worried about the sale ending. It's less than half price but it still adds up when you need 31m squared... so I put it on the 0% credit card
My favourite bra make no longer does my size  so I managed to find a website with some still in stock and bought all three - also put on the credit card but should keep me going for a while:o
I have just managed to switch our gas and elec to the same supplier and they estimate our bills should be less than our current electricity only bills - we shall have to see as I have no idea how much gas we'll use. I had to speak to customer services as they didn't recognise our new gas connection and they were very helpful and got it all sorted out in less than 10 minutes including speaking to an engineer. Our current supplier owe us £150 so I hope it won't take too long to get that back.
I'm now trying to justify spending £75 on a lovely matching kettle and toaster that will look so nice in our new kitchen :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Weather is still pants here, as is my cough. Really hope both improve quickly
Busy weekend ahead and I'm not sure i can be bothered!

If you decide to purchase a CBFM you can get most of the money back re selling on ebay.

Hi
Thanks for the warm welcome on my diary. In regards to cbfm I would really recommend it if you are at that stage! I found ttc for me 2nd child so emotionally and physically draining for many reasons by the time I got my cbfm I was thinking it would never happen. As it was I was lucky and I regifted it to my friend who was struggling too she also manage to conceive.
Best of luck with it if you decide to go down that route x0 -

Thanks SHS, I do appreciate your adviceI've got to have an hsg test at the end of the month (which I am dreading) then apparently our chances will be increased for the next 4 months so I may go ahead and get one for then. After that we are looking at starting treatment

It's been rather busy round here recently! DH has been working very long hours trying to get us back in our house while I've been away digging up a 'royal palace' - at least that's what the papers have called it so it must be true :rotfl:
I'm in need to a bit of positivity at the moment so will try a grateful list again when I get time to log in...Sunshine
My DH working so hard to get us back home
Walks with my lovely dogs
A chance to volunteer on a spectacular dig with a brilliant group of people

- Over £70 cashback on the way to our account
- Found a pound on the floor
-Both energy and phone/broadband switches are underway. Both due to complete next week and I'm keen to see those bills drop and the £160 refund we are due from our previous supplier."It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. Good morning
It's a grey and misty morning here today. The dogs needed a lot of encouragement to leave their beds to go out!
It's been an extremely busy few weeks and we are now living back in our house! :j :j :j
It is such a relief to have our own space again. When we first moved in, we *just* had a functioning bathroom. Since then, DH has almost finished fitting the kitchen and all the plumbing and appliances. On bank holiday Monday, he managed to fit the new stairs by himself so we don't have to climb up and down a ladder anymore :T I was not a fan of this, especially in the middle of the night
Anyway, we having been spending money all over the place and our renovation budget is completely gone so we've been topping it up as we go. We've also had to spend quite a bit of our savings on furnishings and things we needed (and sometimes just wanted).
The best part of our house is the dining area in the kitchen. We now have French doors looking out over the garden and last weekend we picked up our first dining table (in this house) from an ebay seller. We've been spending most of our time in this space and I love it - even today with a view of the mist and building rubbish in the garden
I've been trying to save money where I can and have been keeping a close eye on the spreadsheets but it's mostly been going in the wrong direction!
Today I have some school work to do and I need to clean up some more dust!
I might pop back later with a proper to-do list,
