    Morning all

Yesterday didn't turn out quite as I'd planned. I didn't do most things I had planned, but did do a load of random stuff that I hadn't listed.
    • Sorted through banking paperwork, recycled/burned the stuff we don't need and filed old statements
    • Closed one credit card
    • Requested an additional credit card
    • Blocked myself out of the other credit card I wanted to close
    • Cleared out one small shelf of files
    • Did a load of wedding stuff:
    - Added info to honeymoon flights
    - Bought a small cabin suitcase saving £10 on £bay :money:
    - Paid the balance for our ceremony £365
    - Researched wedding cakes and saved pictures - ours will be made for free by a family member :T
    - e-mailed the venue with approximately 500 questions :o
    - Ordered a selection of no vpl underwear from M&S :rotfl:
    - Filled in ceremony planner with OH
    - Had an amazing time choosing the music for the ceremony :j

We had so much fun choosing some music for our ceremony but are really struggling to find a 'walking down the aisle' song. We are walking in together and there are only 40ish guests so it needs to be quite short! We are going for an upbeat feel as I really don't want to bawl my way through the whole thing  It's going to be an emotional day what with missing a parent and some of the songs I love make me cry even without being at my wedding at the best of times .

We have decided to keep our choices secret but to give you some idea we have chosen songs by the Beatles, Queen, Aerosmith (not the one from that film that they always play at weddings!), George Harrison, ELO, Barry Louis Polisar, and Metallica :D

I would love to have something like the final countdown or the Game of Thrones theme but haven't got the nerve to pull it off!

    So, any ideas?

As awesome as the Game of Thrones music is, GRRM doesn't exactly have a tendency to mix well with weddings! :p Unless that's the point I'm totally missing :rotfl:

What about Volbeat's cover of I only want to be with you? Love that cover!

    Hi Cinny

I got a phone call today which was pretty quick! Scan booked for about a months time. I had a few strange twinges last night but nothing I bad and I've been fine today.

I love Game of Thrones and the music but yeah, just couldn't do it. I'd probably end up crying with laughter instead!

Thanks for that suggestion - I love that cover! It's a too heavy for about three quarters of our guests but it may make the evening playlist!

    Thanks Goldie

I'm feeling OK about it for some reason! I'm scared of the pain, don't get me wrong, and the thought of another operation, but I'm not feeling stressed about it really. I may have it but will only need surgery if I continue to have pain on a regular basis. Now I've had time to think about it, I think I have had some symptoms in the past going back years that I thought were really bad heartburn.

Yesterday was ruined again by this awful pain :( My poor OH was a bit surprised I think. It was worse than before. The zapain I got on prescription did help eventually, although it completely knocked me out!

I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow about being referred privately as I really want this sorted. I'm terrified of having another operation but I'm also dreading the next episode of pain and worried about our wedding :(
