It's going to be quiet round here at the end of July, everyone is going to be on holiday!

After my week away, I can confirm it does you the world of good.

    Afternoon

I'm not doing a proper update or list today as it's my birthday! Have had a nice day so far. We rescued another baby seagull this morning which had slipped off the roof and was wandering around in the road  They're quite big now but not flying yet so OH climbed a ladder and plonked it back on the roof with the other chick. I thought this was very heroic at 7:15am, although the mum did not seem to appreciate it!

Exam results seem really good at the moment so that's a weight off my mind. Not expecting a performance related pay rise though, anyone heard of these actually happening?

We just have a quiet evening planned and then we're having a meal at my mum's on Friday. I'm just going to read a few diaries while I wait for OH to get home.

    Hello

Thanks for the birthday messages! It was very quiet yesterday and I won't be seeing my family until Friday so it almost feels like it didn't really happen! Next year is a significant birthday so I may try to forget it altogether!

    MFW actions:
Tue and today have been NSDs

    Diet and exercise:
I ate a lot yesterday! Mainly the cakes I took to work  I've tried to be extra sensible today to make up for it and I'm about to do a youtube workout.

    To do list:
Did nothing yesterday :T So today:
    • Order repeat prescription Need to go in, too confusing!
    • [STRIKE]Pay for new tax disc
    • Workout video
    • Clean around the dishwasher door because it's really gross
    • 15 minutes - Clean kitchen drawers[/STRIKE]

    Happy thoughts
Sun - shouldn't take this for granted!
We had quite an exciting visit at work today, not going to go into to many details though!

If I'm honest I'm feeling a little carp today and felt a bit down yesterday too. Work is really challenging at the end of the year and I just can't be bothered. I feel like life is passing me by, which is silly but it's a feeling I get from time to time.

    Hello

Just a quick update and today's list :)

    MFW actions:
    Another NSD

    Diet and exercise:
Again not bad. As I mentioned before, I'm just trying to tone up and avoid putting on any weight before we go on holiday. I'm enjoying the workouts that I'm watching on youtube but I'm only doing about 30 minutes a day which I'm not sure is really enough?
I'm trying to stick to three meals a day with fruit as snacks but I did accidentally eat a doughnut at work today :o

    To do list:
    • [STRIKE]Order repeat prescription online[/STRIKE] (will pop in about the other item tomorrow)
      [STRIKE]
    • Wash bedding
    • 15 minutes - Clean kitchen drawers
    • If time - clean microwave
    • Workout video[/STRIKE]

    Happy thoughts
I feel a bit more cheerful today which I am glad about, I think I'm just tired!
    Sunnyish again :T
    Tomorrow is Friday :j

    Edit: :j:T:D 16 sleeps :D:T:j
