Janey's Journey to Becoming a MFW

Thanks Mouche, I don't really need to lose much. It's just frustrating to put on weight before a holiday!
What a busy couple of days! It's been non-stop at work and busy in the evenings too, so no 15 minute bursts of cleaning yet this week!
So, an update for Monday and today:
MFW actions:
Neither were NSDs as I went to martial arts yesterday and yoga today.
Two loads of washing dried on line - sooty towels and the dog's bedding - lovely!
OH has fixed my bike as the handlebars weren't turning easily - saves a trip to the bike shop :T
Diet and exercise:
Monday - cereal, yogurt, cheese roll, cereal bar, apple, banana, grapes, half pizza with extra mushrooms and sweetcorn (and cheese), penguin biscuit.
Tuesday - cereal, school lunch, apple, 1 jammy dodger, 1 choc finger, veggie burger, brown roll, blue cheese and salad.Martial arts, 2 mile dog walk, yoga
To do list:
[STRIKE]2 loads washing
Peg out to dry[/STRIKE]
Return clothes to N£xt
[STRIKE]School work
Clean bedroom[/STRIKE]
Happy thoughts
Mum selling her house and finding one to buy in the same week :T

Amazing OH fixing my bike
So, need to get on with the cleaning! The rest of the week is easier though with no exercise classes getting in the way"It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living." Terry PratchettBought our house 2012Married 2015

Evening all
Today has been  and
It started with extremely heavy rain like buckets of water being poured on your head. I had loads of stuff to get to the car and everything, including me, got soaked. My class are being a pain in the *** which is really mentally draining.
Then at the end of the day, I loaded up the car to get home early and start my reports, only to find that I couldn't put it in gear. Of course I couldn't get hold of my OH on the phone and had to call the RAC. Never done anything like that on my own and I'm a wimp who always feels like an idiot when dealing with garages etc. Anyway, he fixed it and I drove home only to find they have painted new lines on a massive roundabout near my house. The lane I used to use is now marked differently and I ended up going a couple of miles out of my way because I couldn't change lanes
I'm feeling a bit overloaded at the moment so really annoyed to waste a load of work time. Also the car still needs to go to the garage as it probably needs a new clutch.
I decided yesterday that I just can't get everything done - there just aren't enough hours in the day so all cleaning and household jobs are on hold until all my assessments are in and reports finished in a couple of weeks. Then I can concentrate on getting ready for our holiday.
MFW actions:
NSD yesterday but today bought ready meals in M&S following car fiasco
Diet and exercise:
Been OK food-wise and I don't feel as hungry at the moment, however I have eaten a ready meal and two slices of chocolate swiss roll. I'm blaming it on this evening's chaos!
No cycling - didn't finish work until late last night and only managed a 1 mile dog walk.
To do list:
[STRIKE]Return clothes to N£xt[/STRIKE]
School work
e-mail wedding venue
Happy thoughts
Nothing is standing out at the moment, although I haven't been unhappy - just busy
I'm going to have a quick cuppa, finish the swiss roll, finish my marking and collapse in a heap!"It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living." Terry PratchettBought our house 2012Married 2015

Afternoon everyone
Sorry I've been a bit quiet recently, it's just so busy at work at the moment I can't even think about anything else. The end is in sight though, should have the urgent stuff finished tomorrow evening! It's my birthday next week and only 23 sleeps until our holiday :j:j:j"It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living." Have a great birthday, relax completely on that day. All housework and exercise can go out the window, just think of yourself. It can start again the next day just until your hols.0

Thanks mouche and ally! It's not going to be relaxing though as I'll be at work, it's late meeting day and their exam results are released - dreading it
I promised myself a slow morning today and I've planned today to get myself back on track with all the things I haven't had time for over that last few weeks. Only 3 more reports to write then I'm going to write a massive to do list and plan what I need to do before our holiday :j House is a TIP!
Something bizarre happened last night. I didn't sleep well because OH went out for a 'quick drink' and didn't return until after midnight (then fell asleep on the sofa with the dog). Then at around 3am, a girl knocked at the door looking for someone called Andy. She kept saying that she was trying to get her hammock back which she had left at his house and would not accept that she'd got the wrong house! She came back about half an hour later convinced that this was Andy's house. If it wasn't for the hilarious hammock reference I might have been more cross, but I did tell her quite firmly not to come back after that! :rotfl::eek:
Anyway, off to write a mammoth list!"It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living." Terry PratchettBought our house 2012Married 2015
