Of course I'm not happy to pay the extra.....but if everyone is waiting for free listing, I'd be wise to pay the charge and list when there is less competitionNever put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D0

No 5 defects isn't a lot I have 3 going back over the last 12 months, two 3 stars in IAD and a 1 in dispatch. One of the IAD 3's was my error but the other two were no reason.0

If all my INRs in the past six months had opened a case, I would not only have lost my TRS, but probably also had my account suspended as its more than 12You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

Some sellers also have monthly limits that are lower than the current free listing limits.
Soolin - I too thought I didn't have this feature until someone pointed out that I was looking at the wrong page...LOL
When you are in 'my ebay' have you clicked the 'All Selling' link under the 'shortcuts' heading on the left hand side...it is way down the page and easily missed....
Once you have clicked that link then it is right at the very bottom of the page that the number of listings left is detailed.
Of course you may have tried this but thought I would mention it just in case...LOL0 -

Thank you for that, it is always worth double checking and I welcome any suggestions. I have tried that before an dti showed nothing- I have just done it again and I have totals! Honestly, they have never shown before- ever.

Oddly I was convinced I had used a couple at least of my 99p listings this month - obviously not.

Mrs_Justjohn, you are amazing.
Out of interest I just tried it on my business account- and it works there as well. This is despite me being on the phone to ebay and being told there was no mechanism to see how many of my free shop listings I had left.

Thank you Mrs_Justjohn
Isn't it funny how we all used the ebay system in different ways / notice different things and perhaps have different layouts?
My free listings notification email always goes to junk mail. The way I know I been invited to free listing is by going to the bottom of the All Selling page looking in the Promotional offers section just as Mrs_Justjohn explained.
Back to the changes and I have worked out that under the new system of 20 listings per month, even if sold all 20 items every month it will take me .................
........................17 years to sell my late husbands collections let alone any odd bits of mine I need to sell.
I'm looking into the shop option.

No problem :-)
I often don't get notified of FLW etc... but I always check at the bottom of the 'all selling page' to see what offers I have active on my private account. I use it on my business ID too but much less often as I rarely get close to using all the free listings that come with my shop0 -

Same here, I feel like I am always listing in my shop and was surprised how many listings I have left this month even after taking into account the 5 days of free listing last week.

Talking of the shop option - does anyone know if you can have a shop for a month and then close it and only pay the one £19.99?0
