Well, that's progress. You can't eat what isn't there.

I still don't see how something with only 5 calories can be an energy drink, as there is nothing there to provide energy. Having said that, keep drinking them as if they have no calories they are not a problem. And as you don't burn off calories exercising, you shouldn't need high calorie drinks anyway. So that's all good too.

I would really rather have food than high calorie drinks lol

And they do give me energy

Today I did get more salad, trouts seabass, swede and carrot etc

Only time I'm naked for a long period of time is in the shower and I hate it

I do eat while watching TV but I always concentrate on the food, my calories are worked out before I eat it so even if I didn't concentrate I know the calories I'm eating

I didn't get any crisps when shopping :D

    Thanks, is this the blog?

Yes, that's the one. I think her portions are a little bit small for a man or a teenager (especially ) though. She is a healthy weight herself and her and her son seem to look well on her cooking, though of course it isn't to everyone's taste.

Going back to your 1st point about hating being naked, I'm assuming you mean your appearance?
The thing is, you may find that just losing weight on it's own doesn't really improve things much. It really needs exercise (and a lot of it) to tighten and firm up the body. You may find you are lucky and your skin tightens up naturally but a lot of people aren't. I know I wasn't and going swimming was the thing that really made me feel more self confident about my body, as much as I initially hated having to put on that costume and face up to how my body looked.
Just saying this as someone who was in a similar weight range to you. I understand your options for exercise are limited due to your condition and it seems a shame that you feel a barrier to doing something that really could benefit you.

I'm not saying no to swimming full stop just not right now

I know weigh loss alone won't suddenly make me love myself, I'm hoping to get counselling for my insecurities

Well I've done my second weigh in and I've lost 3lbs :o but I have lost 3" off my bust, waist and hips so I think I'm slowly making progress! :) how's everyone doing?

Also I'm using an app called snaptrack, you can take progress pics and record your stats. I look horrible in the pics but I can sort of see I have have lost some weight off my stomach so it's encouraging me, no idea if something like that would be useful to you

Surely that defeats the object of losing weight? :wall:
