    From the landing
Took 2 lots of plates downstairs (DS3 went out yesterday so I brought pots, pizza box mountain, dirty clothes, rubbish and recycling out and then repainted the bit behind his headboard - did it last month, but the greasy bed head/ pillow marks have bled through the new paint so 2 more coats of stain stop and another layer of emulsion - some piles went down yesterday, others still on landing), 1 whites wash (dark done last night); 3 cans of paint + trays/ brushes, 4 dustsheets and one paper coverall suit (like the crime scene ones - appropriate for DS3's room) into small bedroom - still needed for small bedroom, bathroom and attic stairwell but found space to put them where I will not fall over them; map book into wardrobe to join other 4.

Started a WEEE bag (laptop power cable failed a couple of weeks ago but DS3 had a replacement for the half that didn't work, faulty half on landing but didn't want it mixing with other techie stuff - we all know they breed if left to their own devices) and a charity shop bag.

Brought clean bathmat and a few clothes upstairs after taking pots down. Wiped over toilet and checked if there are enough toilet rolls to last till end of week - yes (need to do a SM run sometime but now trying to postpone till Thurs/ Fri as usually best bargains then.

    Second 15 minute 'run':rotfl::rotfl:
Picked a meal that would take 11 minutes to cook (living from freezer as want to defrost it - someone didn't put the drawers back fully and ice has built up), did all washing up, rinsed recyclables under tap as I was filling the sink. Still time over so sorted some kitchen fittings (doing drawers a few weeks ago and there was water in the bottom drawer - box holding bits was swimming so spread them on a tea towel to dry out) into lid of a small toolbox, took everything off the top of the freezer and cleaned top and sides, teatowels added to white wash. Used leftover washing up water to soak a vase and clean out 2 plastic bins.

    Other
Made salad to go with tea (curry and Indian snacks). Dried and put away pots. Small piles of rubbish collected during the day - need to put in bin and bin to pavement later. Used a small tin to pack all pills and some toiletries in (need everything within reach when resting). A few nearly dry things spread out on upstairs radiators. Brought up baby shampoo (asked DS3 to get it earlier but he couldn't see it) and vinegar to bathroom (still trying to get rust spots off the shower rail - its 3 whole toads but a replacement will cost £150, so I will persevere). Oh - dusted bannister rail, over doors and picture rail on landing but dropped it when I tried to reach a web above the stairs. Will try to sweep down the stairs later.

Didn't get to sleep until 5am, so turned alarm off and was too late to get to the doctor's - we have a great system, if you get there before 10.30am you will be seen (afternoons are appointments). Will go tomorrow - but went back to resting whenever necessary.

Gotto work feeling foul this morning and looking ILL and got a 'see how you go':o

my work today involved me drinking a LOT of water and doing way more sitting down than I would normally do.

Flying? I have wiggled the water drainer thing at the rear of the fridge to counteract the water (condensation) from the body of the fridge.

Productive evening! <nods to dusty re the nudge earlier>

Hair done - but not dried - started doing other stuff so will just leave it and straighten in morning.
Towel wash done, bedding in airing cupboard.
Cases downstairs, hand luggage begun <essentials in, need to sort kids tablets>
DW emptied, lunch for tomorrow made, sausages defrosting for tea.
Cards not written but placed in bag with stamps, diary, address book. I will do them on my lunch break that I will have tomorrow.
Phone kept going whilst I was doing my hair so never got my nails done. Eyebrows tidied though ;) will sort nails now, and tidy the nail gibble basket.

Sad about Peaches, really do feel for the little ones. They must be so confused :(

Dad decluttered back to his hotel to catch a very early train in the morning; we've had a lovely evening at the outlaws, eating dinner and chatting. This visit has served to remind me how vile his OH is though, as I don't often see them it's easy to forget how rude and and obnoxious she can be, I honestly don't know how my dad can live with her. But it's his life and I can bite my tongue. I will confess to having a good b!tch with my sister via text earlier though ;)

House is looking much better after today's efforts. I'm working for the rest of the week but will try my bestest to keep it in decent shape.

Hugs bossy and Valli, sounds as though you're both having the rough end of the worky stick lately xx
  • Hi all - well nothing got done at all flying wise - well one washer load but it is still waiting to be hung on the airer!

Lots of important financial type stuff and paperwork done however.

Tomorrow the plan is to complete the washing mountain then more paperwork frog eating. I am so fed up of not being able to find things and having scratty bits of paper around with important notes on them.

The end is nigh watch out papers!!!!

Have a good day tomorrow - will give you a progress report when I can!!!

I finished everything in the bathroom today - even decluttered and chucked out old/not used shampoo and conditioner bottled.

I couldn't do the landing and stairs as DH was sleeping and decided that spending 1.5 hours cleaning the bathroom and decluttering was a good substitute for going to the gym today.

Tomorrow I will got the actual gym as soon as DH is awake.

Evening all. I hope everyone is ok.
I haven't posted for a few days as was feeling really rubbish (think I might have to visit doctors as happening more often). Friday was mothers day at school so nothing got done and DD was poorly all weekend. But while sat on the sofa I did eat a frog that has been waiting for over 4 years, not actually because I wanted to but because the council said I had too. But 3 hours later the planning forms were sorted, just hope I did it all right.

Today I have been feeling better.
    All kids to school
    shopping done
    3x WM
    1xTD
    1xDW
    airers emptied and reloaded
And I only have left to do...
