Thanks for the company Mrs MP & Fizz
the WUDUPA is complete.....bar polishing the cutlery before it goes away
all worksurfaces are now done and I fixed the DW :jthe little thingy (yes too much technobabble, I know:p) that connects to the water inlet on the top washer tray had come off - DW now had a nice relaxing cleaning cycle as a special "pick me up treat" I am a girl who knows how to make a DW feel loved :rotfl:
I have also renewed DS and DD4 library books online, and my request for the library to buy a RAWvolution "cookery" book has been accepted and I will be the first one to borrow it....just have to wait for the confirmation to say it is at the library ready for collection
Also have stayed onto of today's junk mail......recycling bin is looking decidedly full.
Time to get off this PC and get a bit more work done
HHC stairs and landing anyone? The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Hi all; posi-vibes and healing vibes wherever needed. And a hug for Froddy's Dad. I remember how Mr LW was when our pal Colin died - Colin was just a few months older than Mr LW, and one of the most "alive" people I've ever met iyswim; so I can imagine the demise of 3 friends/acquaintances in short order must have the poor man reeling. The "paint toenails" one made me chuckle - at 9 months pregnant, I haven't been able to reach (or see) my toes for months! :rotfl:
I wouldn't dare get out pots of nail polish with these two little furry sticky-beaks here.:rotfl:

Daily tasks for the next fortnight include 2 x walkies (morning and afternoon), brushing the dogs to remove the detritus they've collected in their coats - both are long-haired, and Patsy in particular collects a lot of the outdoors to bring inside, and hoovering to remove outdoor detritus from the carpets. I also have to run interference when Patsy wants to eat, as Pandy is territorial over their food (they have a dispenser with dry food in it available all the time, which they share) and stands there and growls at her.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Will dust the skirtings in the hall before I run the vac around -- door frames were wiped before the weekend so they are OK.
I think a friend's son had a similar condition Dusty, though I hadn't heard the name before. If memory serves, his calmed down a lot within a couple of months, he had to give his beloved football a rest while it healed but was fine afterwards. Fingers crossed that's the case for your DS too.
Glad to hear the DW is feeling better, skinty, Lord knows I often feel as though my water inlet thingy has been disconnected on a Monday morning0 -
I'm still full of cold so I'm flying in mind rather than body. That said I did such a good job last week my bathrooms are looking good and after washing the carpets the smell of wet dog has now gone. Having not decided whether my hall is a hall or a landing (1st floor flat) it also got a double dose last week. So I will just try and keep on top of the washing and essentials today.0

I am in again please I have done a bit of everything today already.
I have the in-laws here tomorrow then Wednesday I am taking the kids on a very short break for 2 nights, I do love flamingo land but I just think its quite expensive.
I will finish the lists after I have bathed myself and the kids.
My main goal today and tomorrow is wash/dry/Iron clothes ready for Wednesday.... and write a list so nothing is forgotten.

I've cleared all today's email now, so I'm going to shut down the 'puter, walk the Princesses, brush them, hoover, and then see how much of the bungalow I can take a duster to (bathroom all done at weekend, as Mr LW has to lift the bath-lift out to clean it, and he also did the loo, and I had a blitz on the sink and did the plugs at the same time). I also want to see if I can get the kitchen sink thoroughly scrubbed, and the drainer rack cleaned, but that will depend on how my hands hold up.
See you tomorrow, folks.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Don't touch the Dyson. It's hard at the best of times. Maybe he could do your toenails too - so you look your best in labour!0 -
Flying suspended for me
Ds2 has been screaming and has trashed the house.
I'm making him put things back0
