I've had similar issues with this site and have complained at least 3 times about specific surveys. I just get told that's the way it goes.

This is a PITA for all survey takers and always will be. The standard excuse is something to do with quotas being filled before you got the chance to complete, blah blah blah.

There are some survey sites out there which pay points on disqualification, for example, Your Word pays 10p per DNQ, with a minimum cashout of £5. InstaGC is another good one, though that's more of a PTC really.

£10 per month is quite good going though so it might be worth putting up with the screenouts in order to keep that income stream going.
  • £10 a month is quite good going. I have been stuck around £7 since end of March (currently at £7.75). I'm going to get my payout then I'm leaving Valued Opinions.
Years ago they used to be my number one survey site. Now I keep getting screened out after some way into the survey. I don't know what has happened to them. :(

I had a phase of this with them and earnt very little for a couple of months last year. This year I've cashed out £135 so far so it has picked up again.

As has been said above if you're doing lots of surveys on lots of sites I think annoying screen outs go with the territory. I stopped complaining to any sites about them as all you get is a standard response, I've never once been paid for failed survey. I now accept them and try not to get too annoyed.

I've found this happening more and more recently.

I did actually complain about one survey a month ago. It was quite intensive and I had been about 20 minutes by that point, provided a lot of answers on the different aspects, clicked the next page and it was blank.

Made sure I had the survey number details and used the contact form on the website, gave the survey number, what had happened, and said that I was probably going to close my account because I was fed up of things like this happening.

Received a reply a few days later confirming I had completed the survey and the reward would be credited.

Still looking at cashing out and finding an alternative.

  • keep complaining. I have found that they normally pay up. Its just annoying having to beg for your cash so frequently.

I left VO a good while ago after they decided it was a good idea to get their members to pay for their own postage costs of sending out the hard earned vouchers!

The thing that frustrates me about survey sites in general is that they claim that if you get screened out your info is not used.

However several times I have been doing a survey which says it will take 20 minutes for example and I will answer a question at around 12% complete and it will suddenly fly up to around 97% complete ask me a few questions about my age, income and where I live and then screen me out.

This clearly shows the info is being used after a screen out.
  • Is anyone else having a problem with valued opinions completed surveys not being credited? I had one yesterday that hasn't gone onto my account and 3 today. All have been completed through to the last 'completed and rewarded' screen, but none show in either my participation or redemption history. Surveys that I haven't qualified for are showing up on the history for both days. I had an email through yesterday that they are re formating the site and adding new features, I hope this isn't the end of it being any use!

If they haven't shown up on my account by tommorow I'll send them a email, but just wanted to see if its a site wide issue or just me.

    Thanks
