When I was on holiday in May the chambermaid left her masterkey in the electric slot (you know them slots you put your keycard in to work the lights & AC abroad).
I left it in there for her to take back, I didn't hand it in as I didn't want her to get in trouble.
She didn't take it at all, all holiday & I didn't ever see her, but I just left it.0 -
exactly i could never do something like that as i wouldnt want to get th person in trouble. HAving said that when I was in a well known restaurant that I wont name I did complain when I found a hair. But I think thats slightly differentMerry Christmas MSE!0

Slightly off topic perhaps but just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's agreed it was just an honest mistake. I work in a supermarket and a good friend of mine is a delivery driver, she supports 2 kids on her own on her £6 odd an hour wages and I'm sure she's occasionally left the wrong thing here or there, genuine mistakes but with the schedules they have easily made. It's nice to see most people would realise the implication of making a complaint about something so minor:beer:Smokefree since 27-9-20070

The end of the day, to make errors is to be humanInside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out - but I can usually shut her up with cake!0

If the OP wants something to keep them sweet, may i suggest them asking for a packet of Haribo?
IMO i wouldn't make a big song and dance about it. Just hand it back with a smile. As others have said - the information is no different to what is found in a phone book. It's not like there are people's credit card details on etc.
I suppose you could make a big song and dance about it, make Asda offer you a reward and get the delivery driver into serious trouble and maybe the sack in the process if you really want though! It all depends on how far you want to go with this!0 -
My god imagine the compo you will be expecting when the phone book arrives :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

Seems like the OP has gone all quiet now!
Maybe Asda sent him so much a sweetener they wont say another word
Or
they are just embarrased about it and feel humiliated!0 -

Again, ironically, its only human to make errors or bad judgement calls, they shouldn't feel humiliated!0 -
Oh my god. I bet this has caused you more bloody stress than that piece of paper!!!
Can we call it a day and be friends now
Re: Asda - they do, do some good like the beef chilli & noodles (you have to cook it) in the fridges, it's absolutely amazing0
