About four cups of tea a day for me, mostly decaf. I should really switch to green tea though.Novuna personal finance 0% 4-year £518/£1866Credit card debt free! Now on the journey to mortgage free.0

One mug of Nescafe when I get up, one spoon of sugar and Coffee Mate. I might occasionally have a second mug at 1pm if I have had beans on toast for lunch. More often than not I have a salad with diluted fruit juice. I never drink tea, I hate the taste of it.

One cup of coffee (or tea depending on what I fancy) first thing on a morning and one, maybe 2 coffees during the early evening.
I drink fruit teas, diet cola and warm water throughout the day. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

One cup of (ground) coffee if I'm at home, or if I'm out I have tea because coffee-shop coffee is too strong and bitter. I don't have milk or sugar in either.
I mostly drink water throughout the day, and sometimes fruit juice. The report button is for abusive posts, not because you don't like someone, or their opinions0

About 8-10 cups of tea a day with milk and 2 sweeteners. Sometimes coffee, either instant, in a press, or from my Dolce Gusto machine, mmm. Usually only 1 coffee a day, if any. I can drink tea right until I go to sleep though.0

2-3 instant coffees a day, plus possibly 2 more if I'm in a coffee shop.

On workdays it's quite easy to count, I have about eight hot drinks per day - that's generally six mugs of Nescafe spaced through the day and I have tea with both my lunch and dinner.
It's a lot less if I am at home or out and about at weekends.Mortgage

I've now got one of those posh coffee makers and the coffee in it is really different to the usual powdered stuff I used to have and as a result I seem to want to use a lot less milk because it just doesn't taste right if I add more than just a little milk. Could be worth trying different coffees or making a proper filter coffee or similar to test this out if adding too much milk is your problem (in terms of those mentioning calorie worries).
I seem though to have escalated my coffee intake since using the machine, where as before it was 1-2 a day its now closer to 4 a day and if there is the time, money or the situation arises where a coffee is available I wont turn it down. I do have fairly weak coffees though and decaf after 3pm as a general rule otherwise I just wouldn't sleep.
I used to love tea but since finding out dairy upsets my stomach (I'll spare you the symptoms) so have soya milk and tea doesn't taste right with it. It's a shame as I used to love cups of tea. Hence the coffee intake. Am trying to watch it for my coffee intake though as I am now constantly worries about coffee breath which is in my experience possibly one of the top worst smells around.0

Around 2-3 mugs of coffee (no milk or sugar) most mornings but other than that just water. Unless I'm out and about then I'll grab an Americano in a coffee shop.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
