Phlash, do you have any other interests in life other than obsessing about interest rate rises and house price crashes???
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Throwing myself out of planes. Does that count?

What's wrong with obsessing over the precarious state of the UK economy and the potential for an entire generation to suffer?

I'd say obsessing over the posting habbits of a person you do not know is more unhealthy.

yes, that's alot more exciting than obsessing about interest rate rises.

You just give the impression that you take pleasure in other peoples misery when they loose their home! Yes, it's stupid to borrow beyond your means and not plan for interest rate rises up to 12%, but that's their own stupidity for them to sweat over!

You should concentrate on jumping out of planes! Does it make you feel like your eye balls are going to pop out?

Surely your not asking us to vote on a poll where the result has already been anounced (some 2hrs ago apparently)!!! lol

Anounced noon on Thursday I do believe.

Isn't this poll a bit like asking if Laura off Big Brother likes cakes?

Everybody knows that its going to be a 0.25% increase.

What odds are the bookies offering on this - if its less that 3 to 1 on then its a cert - bookies are rarely wrong.

Why would I take pleasure in that? How have I given you that impression? Like to post some links?

The posts I have contributed to this site have been informative and factual. People can choose what to do with the information. How that means I will enjoy watching people lose their houses I don't know. If anything my posts amount to the exact opposite in that they should provoke thought and caution.

I don't really like the accusations.

You think the only reason he/she has posted is because he/she takes pleasure in seeing people "loose" their homes?

I think its more likely that he/she has got a significant investments which may further prosper in the event of a ir rise. Or possibly he/she feels that an IR is needed to order to decrease the out of proportion gap between avg wages & avg house prices.

And no, jumping out of planes is surprisingly tranquil, - the sound of the plane engine almost instantly disappears, you're left alone, floating in the air, it's beautifully peaceful, - and quite a humbling experience, - you realise how small you are in the grand scheme of things. Rather like a spec of dust :)

For people who don't really follow this sort of thing, for which there are many in the Country, I thought a poll like this would be a more interesting and attractive way for them to get involved.

Plus, its customary to have a poll before the MPC decision, even if it is almost a dead cert decision. Then, in January most people thought they would HOLD, but they raised 0.25%.

Would like to thank you PJD.
