But then I thought better of it and didn't want people shooting me down in flames for the pettiness of my thread.
I used to work in a pub and on the gate as we left in the early hours there was a sign which read.."Please do not bang the gate on leaving as we get complaints and you may loose your job." Always gave us a giggle and stuck in my mind.
The one that bugs me more than anything is people who "Brought" something instead of "Bought" it. I have no idea where that comes from and it really throws me during conversations.

The credit markets are in deep doo doo and the tightening that is going on will fix the inflation problem with a nice recession at the end of the 4th Q.
If I was a gambler I would put a tenner on hold. Accepting its a longer shot than a hike.0 -
+0.25%There's a very, very, very slim chance of a 0.5 hike. Here's hoping! Stranger things have happened.
Fingers crossed.0 -
+0.25%Very slim chance indeed. I will be keen to see the minutes when they come out as to whether Rachel Lomax and co. came around to raising.
Of course if the 5 who held last month don't revise their thoughts we could still have a hold. But I think thats very unlikely.
EDIT: For reference, the poll finished with almost 80% voting that they thought there would be a hike, of which approximately 1 in 8 thought that there would be a 0.5% raise and the remainder thought a 0.25% raise.I can take no responsibility for the use of any free comments given, any actions taken are the sole decision of the individual in question after consideration of my free comments.
