In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. -0.5%Phlash, do you have any other interests in life other than obsessing about interest rate rises and house price crashes???
It does get a little tedious but it is understandable that so many people (and not just phlash) are 'obsessed' with house prices and interest rates.
Those who own an average house 'make' more money from HPI than by working 40 hours a week. Those who are waiting for the right time to buy stand to avoid losing more money than they earn.
Higher interest rates = lower house prices. The link is beyond questioning.
Without the obsessed, the house buying, renting forum would be dull.

+0.5%Voted for 0.5, but not so sure now. I'd imagine Brown will be exerting his influence over the MPC for his own political gain - particularly so soon after the 'terrorist' attacks. I believe the committee is also up for review soon, so those hawks and pigeons (apart from Mervyn) will be conscious of Brown wielding his axe.
They either tackle inflation head-on with 0,5 or just continue to pu**yfoot around. I fear it'll be the latter :mad:Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

How very peculiar  I was just thinking the very same thing and was even going to get the dictionary out to check I was correct in my assumption that "lose" was the correct spelling .
But then I thought better of it and didn't want people shooting me down in flames for the pettiness of my thread.
I used to work in a pub and on the gate as we left in the early hours there was a sign which read.."Please do not bang the gate on leaving as we get complaints and you may loose your job." Always gave us a giggle and stuck in my mind.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
+0.25%Up a quarter, but only because they'll get a severe slagging from the economists and currency markets if they don't...0
