what has been said is good advice. However the £15,000 fig would be as low as £11,000 - 4x2 mid range Duster £12,500 4x4 mid range Duster. (all delivery mileage) and up to 7 years warranty.

No one piece of advice can be seen to be right unless you tailor it ...... If you intend to keep your car for a long time, if you intend to trade up after 2/3 years ......

Listen to all the good advice and select what is appropriate

Very good advice IMHO, but in the end the choice will be yours, I still think £15k for a one year old car will get you a great motor. Good luck with which ever route you choose.

still looking for a Duster then the quote "All of which is subject to there not being some terrible problem discovered with them, such as terrible rust etc."

might now be a bit prophetic !

try google the duster forums for further guidance

Problems with Rust, especially White Dusters it seems, have been widely reported and Dacia have made a statement here:

Did they not switch production of Dusters away from that plant, so this shouldnt be an issue going forward?
