Hubby and I are out in Birmingham today. Got cheap return tickets from London. So far I have found 9p and hubby has found 1p. So 9:1 to me

Persuaded the kids to walk to the supermarket instead of taking the car - money walk as we pass several bus stops and found 5p which the littlest person claimed as her own.

Very soggy penny found this morning, hoping to get back into cycling and running to/from work tomorrow so that might be the last one of a while.

Had a right result today....
By the car park ticket machine was a penny. Then I put my £1.00 in for parking and at first nothing happened, then I pushed a button and nothing. Then I pushed the return money button and 50p came out and still no ticket. I was not happy. So I pushed the return money button again and again and again and suddenly another £3.40 came out. So I scooped the £3.90 up and walked off to another machine. I then bought a ticket and pocketed £2.50. So that is £2.51 extra for the road kill fund.

I found another penny on the way home last night, but ran in this morning and even if I'd seen anything I doubt I'd have been able to bend to pick it up, some of those hills we killers.

Great find Gem-Gem, must try that next time I come across a broken one, you never know what might come out

Was at work tidying out a cupboard ( we are soon to move buildings) and there in a corner was a penny. Hubby also found a penny on the way to work. So 2p for today.
