On my walk to work this morning I found 5p & 1p.
On the walk back I found £1!! I couldn't believe it, I was so happy! Straight into my pot when I got home. Brings my total for April up to £2.50DEBT 2016 : OCT £300

I tend to be quite lucky with coin finds, in my work there are alot of visitors and they need to put their valuables in a locker, quite often at the end of the shift you find shrapnel (dross) that people have left, or occassionally you find a "golden nugget" (£1 to operate coin, returned but not collected).
However this is small fry as 3 weeks ago in Tesco as I was leaving the store I noticed paper on the floor, thought mucky pups, cant even hold onto their receipts until they reach the bin at the entrance of the store then realised it was a tenner, managed to reach down and pocket it without even breaking stride, all in view of my favourite looking cashier0 -

I found 3p in the self service change slot at Tesco today - was really excited and said 'look' to my DD "3p roadkill". I had to explain what 'roadkill' was, she is getting used to my MSE ways now.
Had to post it on here as its the first I've found since I started reading the thread. Bit of a buzz. Going to keep my eyes peeled.
