I am taking over this challenge for April to support HOK3Y and Joylimited hope you all don't mind.

For the 6th month of roadkill rebels the drill is still the same: find as much roadkill as you can between April 1st and 30th.

As HOK3Y said, "the only stipulation is that it must be found outside of your home and/or car - it has to be money that genuinely wasn't yours or your family's before you found it! So if you find it down the side of the sofa, it doesn't count!

We also collect wombled receipts and discarded lottery scratch-cards to see if we can make some pennies that way too, and we keep track of these earnings separately."

Please feel free to sign up and don't forget to subscribe!

    Ooh please may I join?

Have been a roadkill collector for many years and have had some stellar finds

(best ever - a £25 M&S gift voucher in the town centre - worst find (for value anyway) - a FARTHING in 1995 while on holiday in Poole)

Does finding £1 coins in supermarket trolleys count?

  • Finding pounds in trolleys definitely counts, as well as pound coins in gym lockers Valli! I have been known to rattle through the lockers in my local gym to find road kill :j

The voucher counts as SERIOUS road kill, wowzers!

I hope I find as much road kill as I dream about, I've been having recurring dreams about finding money in flower beds :rotfl: I need to get out more!

Here's to a good month to us all. I'm away in Spain over Easter so looking for some 'local' road kill whilst I'm away x

    Can I join? :)

I always find pennies when I'm out and about, best find was £1 the other week :)

    All adds up!

Thanks for starting a thread for April Maryland Cookie :)

Please may I join in with the April challenge?

I've found 22p so far today, train/tube stations are a great place for finding roadkill.

I have found a £20 note in a flower bed - so not as daft a dream as you may think. (This is not a claim for this month though; this was a while back!)

Will report back when I have found something then!

All welcome, the more the merrier! I wasn't going to do numbers this time if you don't mind, but will do a big roll call at the end of the month - how does that sound?

£20.00 in a flower bed Valii, OMG Im going to start looking, it could be a sign! Isn't there a saying, wheres there's muck there's money? Or perhaps just a local Midlands saying!

I might have to start frequenting train stations Emma N! I walk past 10 bus stands every day, and have no luck.

Savvycash it does all add up, I get excited at 5p, don't know what I'd be like if I found a pound!!

Welshlassie I've never broken the pound barrier, maybe this is the month!

Thanks all for joining me in our road kill challenge, here's to a really good month for us all xx

    yep - where there's muck there's brass.

Well visit to supermarket - spectacular failure; no £1 left in trolleys (and I have about 10 trolley tokens;)) so we will see...

Hi Maryland Cookie, can I join too, Rebel #16 please ?

    @Gem-Gem, I'm very well, thank you:j
I don't think I will get the time to run the challenge properly this month, as I am away for a few days in April. Thanks Maryland Cookie for taking over !

I might still be able to run the June Challenge if Hok3y & Maryland Cookie are too busy
Good luck everyone, I am aiming for a minimum of 1£ this month :T
