Aww nargle and marmite you are absolute stars picking up the May thread, big dodgy group hug to you both :grouphug:

Well if I can walk tomorrow it will be a miracle, went out for a run at lunchtime in preparation for Pretty Muddy Race for Life I'm doing next month and 2 miles nearly killed me  I'm hoping I'll find the 5k obstacle course easier as I'm more used to cross training than straight running. That's the theory anyway.

On the upside, it kept me out of the shops so nsd #13in the bag. Not doing too badly after my little wobble in the middle of the month, but even with that, my budget is ok, it's just I couldn't get spends coordinated into one day.

    Hump day tomorrow :j

Ohh, just checked and I declared NSD 11 twice, so I'm up one now more than I thought. ....

Firstly, a big thanks to ETO for running the thread, I know how much work it can be on a busy thread like this.

Secondly another thanks to nargle and marmite for offer to take over - what would we do without you?

Starting with NSD #17 from me for today :T

Tomorrow will be a spend day though (if I don't post my Mum's birthday card it'll be late!), so that's my lot for this month. Of my 17, 12 were total no spend days and just 5 had allowable spends. Nowhere near as impressive on the figures as last month, but I'm still happy to have beaten my target of 15 :)

Just realised why it didn't add up - I missed off poor old tweeps, who has contributed one more NSD to the collection! Sorry, tweeps, the old brain cells again....

So, folks, the magic total is 346 and 27 of us have achieved that fantastic sum. (Not counting cw's NSD that she sneaked in when I wasn't looking!) I can't add any more to it tomorrow, being end of month and all that, but I am sure some of you can oblige!

I will do the final April update Saturday or Sunday (probably Sunday, as I am a creature of the night on Saturday) and award the prizes then, so I should start running if I were you as Igor has made the prizes himself.

  • Hello well nearly the end of another month im now at
    NSD 17
. Hoping to make tomorrow one as well. Feeling down at the moment we have been on at the letting agents since the storms in jan about the roof as some of the tiles came crashing down and still nothings been done then when I was hoovering sunday I notice the bottom step of the stairs is crumbling away. Wasting our time keep phoning them as they dont return calls and are useless just fed up paying rent and not getting the house looked after living in a dump throu no fault of our own, worried about the kids getting hurt. Couldnt buy a house now not got any money and never likely to.

    Evening all!

A big thank you to ETO for all your hard work on this thread and also to Marmite and Nargle for continuing the good work! I know I'm a newbie but this thread is having such an impact on my spending (or not spending!) already and making me far more conscious of all the little extras I've been buying!!

I'm declaring NSD #3 today! So I've reached my target for this month having only just joined!! Now to think about May...
