No need for apologies or explanations.
You have put a lot of time and effort into setting up the thread each month and keeping us all on track with updates. Now real life is calling you, and that has to take priority. Thank you for all you have done, and don't worry, the NSD gang will ride on.....come back and play when you are ready (i.e. when some bright spark finds a way to fit 30 hours in a day?)
All the best for your return to work.
ETO - I can only echo what Nargle has eloquently put, you've done an amazing job esp with little ETO as well, and now real life needs to take priority. ps I need 48hrs in a day please....Nargleblast wrote: »Ok, NSD gang, we have a challenge on our hands...is there anyone who would like to set up the May thread? ....given my 48hrs comment, I really can't commit to updates as i'm just not certain I can manage them - work is so busy atm (as in I'm still online with emails now) I can offer a title though for May as some small token - The Marvelous May-pole NSD challenge? (wow, just realized I managed to sneak a pole reference in there lol)
Does the thread keeper need to be the one to do the front page updates?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I would assume so, kerri as I think only the poster of the post can edit it? If one or two of us can do updates along the way then updating the front page should be fairly quick to do.One life - your life - live it!0

I've p.m.ed ETO
to say that I could do it.I've got lots of free time,as I'm still off sick long term.
The only thing is,I can't seem to manage doing links. Also, all the posts on the front page, mainly the first post, how do you post that so it isn't a 'quote',is it copy and paste? And all the little prizes, like the ice creams last summer for target reached etc-I don't know where you get those.
I will have a go at doing links today though, see if it's any easier.
It turns out I won't meet my target after all.Sunday was a spendy day,and was meant to be an nsd.Yesterday was spendy too,so I'm at #16.0 -
Good morning, gang, am declaring my 15 NSDs as the final total for April. I will try and do a quick update later, and hopefully between us we can get May's Maypole thread up and running over the next day or so. Am busy this afternoon but will check in again this evening. Keep those NSDs coming in!One life - your life - live it!0

Cross-posted with [B[marmite/B, who right now is the loveliest thing in the universe! I knew we would sort it!
marmite, as I said, I will do an update this evening, and if you like I will collate the final April figures over the weekend and award prizes for everyone (I am sure Igor has a stock of leftover homemade Easter eggs somewhere, seeing as the turnout for his Easter party was low, people suddenly going down with mysterious lurgies,apparently...)
I am happy to do the odd update in May, and anyone else who wants to help do the same will be more than welcome, I am sure. One life - your life - live it!0 -
Any technolobods out there - can you describe how to post a link?
Yes, I confess I am one of those compooter illiterates.....must drag myself into the 20th century...whaddya mean, it's now the 21st?One life - your life - live it!0 -
