Your comment doesn't seem to relate to any of the more recent posts - when replying to an earlier post, it helps to use the 'quote' button at the foot of the post concerned (as I've done with yours), so that people can see clearly what you're answering....
As I said previously, my brother worked for Universal last year as an apprentice. The two directors of Cohen Knights are previous employees of the company, who were in senior management positions and close with Mr Long.
This was my brothers first job, and he was dismissed very inappropriately and was not paid for a months work. Pretty awful thing to do to an 18 year old kid!0 -
What it said on MoneyBox was that the 2 people arrested have been bailed to return to the police station - not to Court. That means they are on police bail and haven't been charged with anything. Until/unless they are their names won't be released.0

Had contact from Anti Fraud today. Longs have been charged and released on bail0

I'm afraid that isnt quite right. They are released on police bail. They haven't been charged with anything - the ivestigation is continuing.0

Can only be held on police bail without charge for 28 days now: https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/apr/03/police-bail-28-day-limit-england-wales“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.” --Upton Sinclair0

Below is part of the email response I received from Anti Fraud. Hope this is clear.
On Monday 23rd April 2018 Stephen and Melanie Long were arrested and interviewed by Suffolk Police in connection with this investigation. Both have subsequently been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
The suspects arrest provided police the opportunity to hold the suspects to account, search for material and identify further lines of enquiry to progress the investigation.
Please take this development in the investigation as a positive step; however I must re-iterate this is a complex investigation in its infancy with many lines of enquiry to explore0 -
The arrests are interesting...........but the charges, if charges there are, will be even more interesting.
The standard of criminal proof is a high one, and establishing that anyone has actually committed a criminal offence may not be that easy.0 -
It's about this point that MSE should have a mechanism for reinstating all the posts that got edited or removed because their lawyers objected to everybody who even suggested it might be a bit ropey.0

Although I suspect your post was at least a bit tongue-in-cheek, the point you refer to would of course be the point at which the perpetrators are convicted, given the 'innocent until proved guilty' principle of English law, despite the (understandable) presumption of guilt from those who've lost money and other interested parties....
Some text seemed to be deleted simply for disagreeing with Universal's interpretation of trust law / deprivation of assets rules.0
