Tips for drawing attention to parents house

Sadly - I have to agree - I wouldn't look twice as the whole place looks too dark and cluttered.0
-
If it is, my thoughts are:
1. That agency is online only, and generally, in my local area, I almost ignore it...
2. There's no floorplan. It's impossible to figure out what the house is like.
3. No room sizes, no descriptions, the blurb you have on rightmove is as much use as a chocolate teapot!
4. The photos are awful. Seems there's a smudge on the camera lense or something. They all need re-taking.
5. Although buyers should look past vendor's furniture, it's difficult to do that with no floorplan and bad photos, so de-cluttering is essential. Remove/hide some of the darker wooden furniture - the house looks really dark. De-clutter the kitchen.
Bit rushed for time to go into more detail, but I'm sure others will help further!
Has the house been with this agency all the time? In all honesty, I'd sack them and go for a local company!0 -
Have they used a local estate agent at any time? or just places like the current one?
Has the price been reduced at any point during the time it has been on the market?
Were the photos taken by them (or you) rather than a professional estate agent? They really are very difficult to see and need to be redone. Ideally with a floor plan.
Have they had any viewings this year?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
In thier Mid 70's you say ? I bet the pictures show the 1980's ! If the price was right and the decoration was modern then it would sell, so either the price is wrong or the decoration is hideous.

Shoot the photographer.
No floor plan
No room measurements.
Need one photo of each room.
Only one garden space?
Remove all the clutter, everything hanging form the ceiling, halve the stuff on the dresser.
Really nice picture on left hand wall but can barely see for stuff.
Remove patterned rugs etc
Add
The flat may be a problem; mortgage providers are now very nervous about property that is partially tenanted.
And it is completely unclear exactly how much of the building is for sale?
What is the construction - looks non-standard?
Ditch the EA as this need a proper description.
And get rid of the plastic bag on the door handle. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
The house looks very dark & dingy. It's also very cluttered.
I'd ruthlessly declutter, freshen everywhere up & take new photos.
You need a floorplan & roomsizes.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0
