there's no mention of being able to use it outside of the UK though.

You're looking at the wrong site. Lycamobile has a separate site for each country. See:i can see the data value pack here http://www.lycamobile.co.uk/en/bundles#Data Value Pack

10MB can hardly be called 'Unlimited'. Though technically, it is. Slowed to 64kbps.
But the calls to UK landlines at 1c + IVA are good.
Carrefour Movil have 'Unlimited' for 50c + IVA per day. Translates to 20MB after which the speed is slowed to 128kbps.0 -
I believe (but cannot confirm) that Tuenti SIM cards can be bought at Telefonica/Movistar shops. This is supported by the fact that Movistar has started advertising Tuenti on its web site.OP doesn't have a Spanish address or bank account. Do they send the SIM to UK address?
Nevertheless, c-m, can't you order a SIM card to a hotel's address etc?0 -

They were selling them from the beginning. But initially only in Madrid. But other retailers sell them. Look here0 -

I used Hits Mobile in Spain this summer and it worked well. It's 5 c/MB for data. I had to show my passport when buying the sim.0

Have a look to see if there is a Carrefour at or near your port. 10€ for the SIM containing 10€ of credit.
Otherwise Tuenti Movil or Orange 'Holidays' looks good. Have no idea of how much credit is included with the 'Holidays' SIM. I think Tuenti is also 10€ with 10€ of credit. So map out your options at your first port of call.0
