Just got this off fb. They guy said this is the number 02074922222 for the ASA . Give them a call about Doritos explaining about the codes etc and their letter of foul play. They told me they had heard from others and will be invesigating on consumers behalfs. I advise all those in the same possition to call them rather than direct with Doritos. I have used them before and they are amazing. With so many of us being affected by this I'm sure they will sort this mess out.

OK I rang the ASA (Advertising Standards Agency) on the number given above. They have had several people ring them about this but I get the feeling that the more people that ring the better and they will look into it and if they can take it forward. We shall see.

I also got a letter - I am assuming all those that had a problem with the game a few weeks back are those that have been sent letters? I do find it strange the game stopped working for certain people/email addresses - This all seems very strange and unfair to me. I was going to cash all wins at the same time but guess I will not bother now!!

Morning guys, I got the cocky letter yesterday, poorly written by a poor company. Im so annoyed but wondering if its even worth fighting them over. They are bound to win. I also put my hands up to using codes off here but i too have purchased packets myself with the same codes on the back as on this forum. Someone from The sun newspaper has commented on the doritos facebook page with an email address saying got a story? email exclusive@the-sun.co.uk
Maybe someone will be brave enough to take their story to the papers.

Had a call back today.

In my case where hubby had also been entering using same IP address using his email address - he's been requesting the cheques in my name (I asked him and he said so we could just cash them all at the same time together - rather than 2 different bank visits)

So there's not much I can do.

They are letting me keep the £80 I'd already received and banked but I won't be getting the other £240 odd we won between us and I won;t be able to enter again.

The lady was quite nice but very firm about it - as I have so many packs of Doritos still here I was hoping to enter with she's also sending me a £10 voucher as a goodwill gesture.

(I forgot to ask if I'll be blacklisted for future promotions or just this one)

Hope some of you get a better response than I did.

Oh no such a shame, but I can see why that has been picked up in your case as looks like one person has been using two emails (naughty hubby ;)) but at least they allowed u to keep ur cheques but tbh doubt they would ask for any cashed monies back. I did not contact them direct but waiting on the ASA . I'm sure u can enter future ones.

What is stopping us from banking any received cheques? If the cheques have been cancelled they will simply be returned back to us.

I also got the letter but got £20 in cheques originally so I am happy with that

Since receiving this letter I then had cheque's arrive over the weekend! It actually made me laugh that they arrived! It goes to show Just how organised this promotion is being run. Still no response from them here though...
