Is anyone considering cashing cheques after they have received a letter?

I haven't been on MSE in yonks so didn't partake in code sharing, (not counting my daughter)


We've received our cheques and had no snotty letter *phew*


I'm wondering if the medium is the code sharing on here? altho if that's the case I'd be peeved as we've managed to buy more than one packet with the same code, if they are going to have a comp using unique codes then at least make the codes unique, Simples!


On a plus note in trying to save our waistlines the local Salvation Army food bank loves us lol

I bought every single packet and didn't code share apart from husband and we both got a letter so it's not just people without purchases (I have a drawer full of empty packets to prove it too lol)

My understanding (and I don't pretend to understand much about this promotion!) is that the people who have been banned have either won more than once with the same code or different members of the same household have won with the same code.


While this could be as the result of code sharing or multiple use, it could also be totally legit.


The Doritos site is down today for 'essential work', which makes me think changes are afoot.

Hopefully you will all get this sorted out , the codes used are very open to misuse, change 06.08 to 06.09 or 06.07 and it still works, I noticed this and as I'm not into games I guess a lot of others did to.

I actually haven't even won on this yet and not sure whether to trust the promo now as unique codes should be uinique afterall.

Although the site appears to be up and running every pack code I've entered says please check code anyone having the same problem?

I'm having the same issue. My wife is addicted to the chilli heatwave doritos so we generally have a few packs lying about. I tried the code as on the back of the pack and it advises that the code is incorrect. I tried changing the times slightly as well to see if it made a difference but they don't accept them. I think I'll have to email them to query why the codes don't work.

Strange, I just tried my codes again before I emailed them and they appear to be working now. Trefre1 give it another go now and see if they work.
