I also got a rather rude letter that has made me feel like rubbish! I have in noway cheated at all but feel if anybody has won a few times basically they do not wanna pay out instead they rather we had all gambled for the £100 so we would have to buy more packets as the odds are not great but by cashing smaller prizes it has really upset them. I would understand if they said SORRY you cannot win again now we have changed terms but honored prizes already won but instead they were so rude and said you cannot cash any of them and if you did cash them they claim they want the money back. Disgusting! I paid money for the promotional packs and bet they would not be willing to give me my money back for them.

Have you noticed Doritos don't want to deal with this collectively and openly. Any issues have to be either call is or email us. How about they write a statement on their fb page. They just want to fob us all off individually, and so they can avoid getting bad press.

It would be funny if the cheques did infact arrive after these letters, considering how disorganised they are, and we just cashed em.

U know what I think we should all email the ASA about this. Let them deal with Doritos and their scamming their customers. Point blank they should payboutvthose who have won up to this date, then after that change the terms but they should not be allowed to take away our wins. A lot of people have spent a lot of money and time on this promotion.

I haven't received the letter yet but i can imagine i will as have been using the same codes also partners been playing aswell. This is why their so called "unique codes" should have been unique then code sharing wouldn't of happened at all. between me and my partner we've won £170 which we received 2 cheques in May and i knew not to get my hopes up about the rest of the cheques arriving. when something seems to good to be true it probably is. I hope you all manage to get your prizes in the end!

Hands up i've been using the 'free codes' posted on here and told to me by friends.

BUT I have also been buying doritos from 2 or 3 shops on a regular basis and sharing the codes with others.

IF doritos had actually made the codes unique then code sharing would not have happened.

What is the common denominator for those receiving letters? Have you won multiple times, have multiple email addresses been used from the same IP address (which does not appear to be against the rules as long as the entries are by different people), or has the same code been used multiple times (either genuinely or by code sharing)?

The more I read their letter the madder I get!! If they want to change the rules now then that is OK they could make it only 3 entries per household but they should honour wins up to the date they change the rules. Can we not ALL write to Mr Mutton doesn't he look after consumer competitions? After all Walkers are a very respectable competitions and they have run lots of comps in the past successfully. Does anyone have Mr Mutton's email address please? All my family have been playing this game and we have bought a lot of Doritos many of the packs with the same code.

Tbh I dontvthink its to do with email addys otherwise they would have added the point in their letter terms to do with bulk entries. Plus me and my mum live in different households and one entry to each household. So its to do with codes that we got the letter. Probably where we won off same code as their codes aren't unique. Ull probably find their system has picked this up. Therefore we are all seen as cheats . As they seem stupid to not realise their bags often included same numbers on them anyways.

I don't believe Mr mutton works their anymore. But I advise everyone affected or even if you believe their competition to be unorganized and a sham to not bother emailing Doritos about it but go straight to the ASA and IPM. A lot of people on this board who dont recieve prizes contact them and they investigate. The more of us who do this the more likely we will have an impact.
