Has anybody won recently? I have not had a win since the 'essential work' was completed, which seems to have included stopping you from taking a second shot in the same place that you have already scored; this was how I got most of my wins.0

Yes, I've won packets as well as £10's since 'essential work'0

At present, I am typing a fairly strongly worded email/letter to both Walkers and ASA.
I along with most, have spent a lot of money on Doritos over the last month or so to get the codes on the back of the packet for the chance to win. In this time I have been reasonably successful. On many occasions when I purchased new packets, they had identical 'unique' codes (using the term very loosely). I know this because I have kept a spreadsheet, on the codes I had received. It's a shame I hadn't kept the packets.
Doritos (Walkers) changed the Terms and Conditions, without informing consumers, it had originally been 3 entries per packet, per day.
The letter I have received states. You are disqualified from playing the game again, and I will not receive any more prizes. I have.
It does state prizes should not be cashed. However the prizes are for wins prior to the letter, although the cheques may be dated the same day as the foul letter? As it does state in there own terms and conditions it can take up to 30 days for receipt of prizes.
The letter is poorly written and is open to interpretation. So my question...
What are others doing with cheques they have received after the letter for prizes won 30+ days ago?
I genuinely believe that if individuals decided to go further with there complaints, that they would not fail, and prizes would stand.
Thoughts? .......
This is the email I have sent to Walkers.
Dear, Walkers
Thank you for your recent letter regarding my commitment to the online Doritos promotion.
I along with many, have spent a lot of money on Doritos over the last month or so to get the codes on the back of the packet for the chance to win prizes. In this time I have been reasonably successful and won occasionally. On many occasions when I purchased new packets from various shops, they have had identical 'unique' codes (using the term very loosely). I know this because I have kept a spreadsheet, on the codes I had received, for my own piece of mind.
I believe I have been disqualified, because I have won more than once, on a particular code. If each packet, does not have a unique code, which I have found frequently, how can this be fair to consumers?!
After checking Facebook, and many forums. It seems that a lot of people have been having the same issues and have subsequently been threatening to take Walkers to court regarding the issue. Many have also contacted the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) accordingly.
I myself have contacted ASA regarding this issue, as I believe I will get a generic response to this email regarding the above. If I do feel the response from yourselves isn't adequate, I will be going to the Sun Newspaper, who have asked for the story.
As a promotion, this has been run extremely badly, and is giving Walkers a bad reputation.
Prizes should be honoured, up until the date individuals received letters regarding an issue, as you have changed the Terms and Conditions throughout the promotion, which I have also kept a log of.
I await you timely response.
hey have you heard back from them ?uni student in love with comping:beer::beer::D

I wrote an email after receiving the 'letter' basically giving off about the competition. I said it was poorly run and unique codes were anything but. I got my cheques for the full amount owed- £80. Ive put them in them in the bank and just waiting to see if they clear. I think the letter was a blanket letter and anyone that challenges it will get their money. They don't have a leg to stand on really. They must have saved loads on payouts because of that letter. Fingers crossed they clear and for everyone else.0

Does anybody think it has become harder to win? I was averaging two wins a week and am now down to less than one, although I am playing the same number of times.
Did anybody who was disqualified have any success with the small claims court/ASA/Sun etc?0 -

I just complained to walkers. Got my cheques in full and they've cleared.0 -
Anyone ever win a £100 cheque and actually receive it? It's going on 2 months now. Was trying to avoid having to deal with the not-so-pleasant customer service to inquire. :mad:0

I'm still waiting for a couple of £10 wins from early July still not received.
Let us know how you get on!0
