IN HERON............Look out for bags of chocolate biscuits. Red bag with picture of assorted chocolate biscuits on the front. It says broken and misshaped......don't be fooledby that. They are fully coated 'luxury' biscuits, 350g for 69p. I have opened a bag.......contains 30 biscuits. Around hal f of these are "?adburys snack", others are chunkie and more fancy types. The tel. No.for customer services on the back does indeed direct you to Cadbury's. I bought 4 bags, won't be pushed into buying fancy xmas tins now.

Are these the same that Home Bargains sell, along with the misshaped Cadbury Fingers? If they are, I think they're 75p there, when they're in stock.

Yes, I think they probably are. I know I've bought them previously and not from Heron. It was sometime ago and never saw them since.

My local Heron I couldn't find the biscuits but I did find Carte D'or raspberry and vanilla log £2 each or 2 for £3.
Why pay full price when you may get it YS ;)

Heron Foods are currently selling the Seafeast Raw Black Tiger Prawns (250g) for £1.99, which is an absolute bargain, as the last time I bought them at Tesco, a few months ago, they were priced at £3.99.

I was back in my local Heron on Thursday and the price of the cooking bacon has plummeted - now 907 g for £1, and it looked good. I'll be using it up quite quickly. Possibly the price drop was in response to A!di's £1.50 1kg of cooking bacon.

Lots of energy drinks on offer: 4 500ml sports bottles for £1,
6 330ml cans Mountain Dew for £1 amongst others.
Cans of Feel Good mocktails 250ml Peach Bellini and Mojito 5 for £1 (750ml bottle of Mojito mocktail is £2.50 in Sainsburys. )

    Others

    Chiller cabinet:
Quorn Chorizo & Mozzarella Girasoli pasta 85p (£2.50 Ocado, Waitrose)
    Fruitopolis yogurts 4 pack 69p
Frubes 9 pack Banana 39p Minions competition on pack and still in date.
500g pots of Rachel's yogurt, fruit and plain varieties, 75p
Ski mousses apple 4 for 69p,

    Philadelphia Whipped 140g 39p

    Freezer
Young's Pink Salmon Fillets 4 for £1.99 (£4 Waitrose but poor reviews. Good for fish pie, probably )

Solero style Irn Bru lollies 1 pack of 3, 39p 3 packs for £1. (£2.49 for 3 in Tesco. Nice!)

    Xsell freezer, Sole goujons 500g (?) £1

    Dry goods
    Shires Chocolate breakfast biscuits 5 x 3 49p
Choc Ahoy cookies 39p (2 varieties)

Got ripped-off yesterday! Needed to buy fish for tea. Tesco most convenient so bought "birds eye 4 fish fillets in crispy batter" 400g pack on a promo price of £2.
Then nipped into Farmfoods for loo rolls. Checked their fish prices while passing the fish section and found "birds eye 6 fish fillets in crispy batter" 600g pack for ONLY £1.00 !!!! I was not a happy bunny! ! Might be worth buying in now for Easter next month.
