No rip off , just different offers in different shops. How much is the full price

The £1 offer seems a bit too cheap to br honest , maybe out of date . A bit fishy lol
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Just checked the packets, Farmfoods dated 04/2016 and Tesco pack dated 12/2016. I know where I'm going back for more.

Cooking bacon ? Is there any other kind ? :D

That always made me smile as well, but I've got used to the phrase now.
The only 'bacon for use in recipes rather than rashers' that doesn't seem to yield up rasher or bits of gammon steak/ bacon chop type pieces is that from T*sco, which is quite finely chopped, or was when I last bought it.

Bought several of those bacon misshapes....mostly thickly sliced or half rashers. Each 907grams packet made up 20 portions for the freezer.
  • Farmfoods are currently selling 2 litre bottles of both sunflower and vegetable oil for £1.49, I can't remember the name of the brand or if it's a time limited offer or not.
  • In Herons today, 'small crushed Oreo pieces', 454g, expiry date 27/3/2016 for 49p.
Nice on ice cream or plenty of recipes online if you're feeling adventurous,
    Some recipes here-

Plenty more to to found on google but the above is a UK site so may be easier to follow.

I haven't seen these items for a while in my local Heron, but they are once again stocking the delicious 500g packs of the Xsell plaice in breadcrumbs and the Xsell lemon sole in a light dusting of lemon and black pepper, (also a 500g pack). They are both priced at £1.50 each and the portions are quite large, with either 3 large or 4 smaller portions in each.

Linda McCartney sausage rolls can always find them for a £1 in Farmfoods, often £2 elsewhere.
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)
