I wonder if some areas where Heron stores are have better stocks than others? Possibly they are served from different warehouses. I was really pleased with the offers in my local Heron on my most recent visit (posted earlier in the thread). I'd planned a visit the other day, but the weather kyboshed that, I can't cycle in more than an inch or so of snow, and that's how I get to mine.

I am entering new territory here...looks like I am going to have to do some bulk buying at FF, take advantage of a voucher and split the shop. Aside from the promoted offers, what is actually worth having? (I generally don’t eat processed foods).Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Farmfoods doesn't have much in the way of special offers, though their ordinary prices are pretty competitive.
Heron's the place for really low prices on short-dated food. Couple more here lifted from HUKD.
Bear in mind, though, that they may not be national, and that they tend to sell out quite quickly:
3 packets of Jus-Rol pastry for £1.00 (filo, shortcrust and puff)
Nestle Shreddies 750g 2 for £1
36 box of Walkers crisps (12 Quavers, 12 Wotsits, 12 Monster Munch) £2.490 -
Heron Foods
250ml diet Coke.
8 x plastic bottle pack - £1.49
4 x glass bottle pack - £1No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.0 -
A new thread, just for Heron Foods, as this one is now some years old.
