Been a few times over the last few weeks and have to say there have been no deals I would think are worth posting on here. Hope things pick up or your pickings have been better.Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.0

This isn't a good buy but probably the best value you can get at the moment.:(
The Farmfoods leaflet was delivered today, didn't see much new or exciting on it.
What caught my eye was the 'deal' on frozen veg. I buy these as I find the range and quality is good and compared with, say, Birds Eye it's still good value BUT....
It doesn't seem long ago that the offer on veg was 3 bags for £2 or about 66p per bag. On this leaflet it's 5 for £4 so 80p per bag. That's a 14% increase when we're told that inflation is running at below 3%. And that's without the shrinking bags (or rather contents) being taken into account.:(
I can't help thinking that it's because they can.0 -
The veg has been 5 for £4 for at least the last two leaflets - could well be longer.
The best deal I saw on today's offers was PG Tips 240s - buy 2 for £6 which, with the coupons attached and careful buying, could reduce to £2.70 per 2400 -
Re my sausage post above they now have same sausage but chipolata,I think they are just as nice as than the full size same 90% etc these are top sausage wouldn't be surprised if these were once destined for M&S or Waitrose.0

Farmfoods have 36 packs of weetabix for £1. Some of the boxes were dated 12/17 but ours also had boxes dated 05/18.
Herons have zapf ice lollies, 6 for a £1He who smiles rather than rages is always

Since Heron were bought by B&M there have been changes even in smaller stores, with for example the introduction of toiletries.
Now Herons seem to be introducing a Christmas selection which to me makes the store layout look very strange as well as obviously leaving less room for their traditional ranges.0 -
At least Heron's "Xcell" value range is still ongoing for now.
500g breaded cod portions @ £1-50 are very good, just like the battered ones I've had recently.0 -
Probably time we had a thread for this, particularly since its takeover by B&M last July:

A great place to find short-dated but excellent quality items, but they don't tend to last too long.
Just to kick off:
500ml (normal size) Häagen-Dazs Blueberries and Cream ice cream: £1.490
