Have you done the fitness test? Do it NOW!
You should be able to get to platinum after the second fitness test (1 test/6months). You are going to have to pay a bit for the gym till you get to platinum.

    Other than that:
Guide to routinetics (read them) 10 points
Read self help articles (3 per month, you've only done 1 this month) 30 points/month max 200 points.

You can get fitbug if you don't go to the gym often enough.
You don't shop at Sainsburys do you? Or fitness stuff drom ebay?

Thanks Quaver. Even if I do the self help articles and fitness test, and go gym twice a week, how long realistically will it take to get to platinum?

I am trying to plan out the things and therefore get a clear idea of the cost of membership!!

Wow really :( It means after £40x3 I will be paying another £45 x 3, for the other three months and only after then would I be down to £15!!!

How long does platinum status last for ? or does it reset after a certain period?

You keep it up until you renew, when you renew you still keep platinum for the whole year but your points are reset. As long as you reach 2000 again in the second year, you will be platinum again the following year and so on..

So overall, if you make 2000 points a year, you will permanently be platinum.

My recomendation: Don't use Pru for the gym for the first 6 months. You can still take the fitness test without being a member of the gym i believe.. try this for your 6 month plan:

    Fitness test x 2 = 600
    Stress centre x 2 = 100
    Meal plan x 2 = 100
    Reading self help articles x 3 x 6= 180
    Not smoking = 150
    Personal Health review = 100
    Online activation = 50
    Basic Health Screen x 2 = 400
If you maintain your BMI level between the two fitness tests = 100
If you maintain your Blood Pressure level between the two fitness tests = 100

That totals 1880. If you improve your BMI and blood pressure, that would total 2080. Now you can also get points from sainsburys or ebay from stuff you would normally buy anyway. (you ned 2000 for platinum)

However, if you dont think you can make that, purchase the fitbug which costs £15 and can earn up to 150pts per month..

Then join the gym at the extremely subsidised price! Saves a lot of cash.

Why not post a copy as well? Photocopy ofcourse:o
If you are desparate, why not book a test at another gym?

I might do the postal idea if they still claim by tomorrow not to have it. It is an inconvenience though and I don't see why I should have to when it says on the form that it needs to be faxed through

Can someone direct me to the self-help articles - I can't find them anywhere on the website????

I can only access the vitality and stress centres via the sitemap too which is ridiculous??

Trying everything I can to increase my status to Platinum - only a gazillion points to go! :T

    Many thanks,

    Sarah
