Not sure if this has already been mentioned but Pru Quidco cashback has been revised -
£85for completed online sales (new applicant- 1 person per policy)
£120for completed online sales (new applicant- 2 people per policy)
£190for completed online sales (new applicant- 3 or more people per policy)DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -
I got a quote of £20.10 p/m. So, for a 12 months contract that's £241.20 per year.
If I get the £85 Quidco cashback, monthly cost will average out to £13.01.
Im joining Canons in Covent Garden which is supposedely one of the best around, well to me it looks like it, its got EVERYTHING! Most importantly a swimming pool :j
Think this is a bargain considering they charge like £50 per month which is a 'special rate'

If I got 3 people in 1 policy, would that mean I get 3 membership cards? Imagine that, even if the monthly total was £40ish, let me do a quick check0 -
how do i get to the free gym bit when i go through quidco, it brings me to the main page, then i get a quote and it says nothing about the gym membership bit?
any help appreciated.
edit: ok, so do i go through quidco and then get a quote and sign up and then ring them for the membership card?? when i go through quidco it says there are no gyms within a 100 mile radius??
again any help appreciated.0 -
Hi
I signed up with Pruhealth 6 months ago for the free Gym membership which I am using at JJB Fitness the 6 month free gym membership comes to an end on 04/11/07 and I have had a letter from Pruhealth saying that to continue this membership it will cost £20/month I think this is in addition to the £19.30 I pay Pruhealth currently.
Am I able to cancel the policy with Pruhealth now that 6 months have passed? Does anybody know of any offers that JJB are running at the moment so that I can join again?
I notice that JJB are currently running an offer if you pay 12months up front they will give you a free bike so I guess this may be an option if I am able to cancel with Pruhealth without the penalties.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Give Pruhealth a call and say you'd like to be switched over to the new gym scheme. Make sure they don't cancel and start you on a new policy (as you'll lose your vitality points). They should just be able to switch you over.
I did this, and I have to pay a one off £25 during the 3 months when they work out your gym usage. After that it should be free.
Very simple, can't fault pru : )0 -

Thanks for that I had been looking at that scheme on the Moneysavingexpert website I may try and give Pruhealth a call it looks like as long as you go to the gym at least twice a week the membership should cost an additional £5/10 is this what you have found?0 -

Once they calculate your average usage over the 3 months, if you go at least twice a week, the following 3 months will be free (you still have to pay your monthly pruhealth premium though). Theyn they repeat the process to calculate how much you'll pay for the following 3 months.0 -
That sounds like quite a good scheme ill think i will give Pruhealth a call to see if they can put me on that instead.

I signed up to this and joined LA fitness 2 weeks ago and so far I've been very impressed with the gym etc.One question though, I tried gaining vitality points through the website taking the nutrition and health questionnaires but it wouldn't allow me to complete all steps?? So no extra vitality points thus far...Also, despite having been to the gym about 8 times since I joined up none of them have been registered on the pruhealth website so no vitality points as yet... any idea how long it takes for them to be added to your account and whether I should chase it up with Pru yet?0
