Just wanted to say thankyou to everyone, this forum seems to be the only active one on the net at the moment and there are plently of helpfull people on here.
I have a single policy, and have some questions on the rewards (assuming im on platinum):
1 -If I were to book a MW holiday, do I get the disount on the entire cost, or just my half?
2 -If I were to book a night at champneys, I get the discount but what cost would be charged to my partner ?
3- I have no local cineworld, is the card transferable (can I give it as a gift to my family)?0 -
ok answered my own Question:
I did just noticed that you can manually add a training session to www.polarpersonaltrainer.com.
I wonder if you get the points from these sessions: say if you forget your HRM one day when out for a run? anyone know? Ive just put one in to test it.
Ok, ive tested it all. A manually added training session doesnt get you vitality points. Also you have to do a full 30mins for it to count on pruhealth. You can pause session but once you press stop (or remove the wearlink) on the HRM thats game over.
In fact ive tried various things to cheat but it just wont let me. Thats it there is nothing left but to actually excerise. Well done Polar/pru health!0 -

1. Full discount for yourself and 5% for other members of your party. Up to 6 people.
2. You get the promotional rate, but a guest gets a 'guest rate', not massively better than the rack rate. This is hidden somewhere in the PruHealth main site....
3. The rules state only you can use the Cineworld card - when you register it, it must be in your name and this is stated in the T&Cs. However - and of course I'm not advocating it- if you uploaded the picture of a family member for the card, and they were the same gender as you (ie, as your name must be printed on the card regardless), no-one is really going to be able to check or track back if they then use it....
hope you're getting the most out of vitality!!0 -
I've got a quick question about the Vitality Points category limits which I can't see an answer to in the PruHealth FAQ pages.
If I have a family policy then is it just the family limit for a category which is in place, or is it the family limit AND my individual limit?
For example, the individual limit for exercise category is 1500, and the family limit is 3000. If I am the only one in the family getting any exercise-related points, will I stop racking up the points once I individually reach 1500, or will I still be able to earn more because the family limit is 3000?
Thanks0 -

If you are in a family scheme, you (or one person) can score some or all of the 3000 excecise points. :j0 -
Ive just had my fitness assessment last night and should get the 300 points plus the bonus 50 for it.
Any idea when they will go on to my points statement as getting them will take me over the 1000 points needed for silver and Im hoping they will go on before monday...
It was through Virgin gym if that makes a difference0 -
They should go on within a couple of days - query it if they don't.

I had probs with the fitness assessment, at Virgin. Even though I saw the instructor key in the results on the computer it never went through.
So I rang up Pruhealth, they advised me to go back and get the original fitness assessment form (they do keep them), and scan it and email it in. Once I did that the points appeared within a few days.0 -
