First house.... Looked for 10 months. Wanted a 2 bed house and EA kept taking me to viewings for 1 bed flats ( or very small 2 bed). About 8.Saw 2 double bed flat, 2nd viewed it not ideal but was considering it had a called at work from another agent about house just on market. Viewed it after work and put an offer on it which was accepted.
2nd property. Hubby wanted a bungalow by the sea. Looked at 3 houses in the morning, none were what we had asked to look at ( told the ones we had asked to see had offers on) looked at 3 bungalows in the afternoon..some were dire and a house and hubby walked into house and wanted it...(it does have a downstairs bathroom and bedroom !) second viewed it.offer rejected so looked else where but struggled to find something that matched and had not been offered on.( felt house overpriced and told EA) EA later contacted us with a counter offer which we accepted... Just going through the process now. So from planning on a 3 bed bungalow by the sea...it's a 5 bed house...by the sea. Costing just a little more than the 2 bed house I have sold on outskirts of London.(that had 24 viewings in one day and 5 over asking price offers).Making saving money part of my life.0
