kaydee11 said:Hello I wonder if anyone can help please. I own a flat in a building that contains four flats. It is purchased on leasehold. There is a car parking area at the back of the property.I am unsure if I can use it. I have looked on my land registry title plan and it states “the right to park a car In The car park area is included in the title so far as the lessor has the power to grant the same” I am confused by the wording and wondered if anybody could help, thanks

Hello everyone.I found a house to purchase and my offer was accepted but unfortunately there will be a chain from the vender’s side (I am a first time buyer). They started looking for another house but I don’t know how long time it will take and if that house will be chain free. My solicitor sent me a contract with to sign and according to the contract I have only 7 days to cancel it, otherwise I will have to pay all amount £1,400 even if my purchase does not happen. It’s quite big money to loose. My question is may I not sign a contract with my solicitor until the vendor finds a house and their offer is accepted? House purchase with a chain is always full of surprises and I would not like to loose money that I pay to solicitor.I will appreciate very much if somebody gives me advise 😊😊😊0
