It's been a little while since I posted, we had the kids birthday on sunday, there was 30 kids there, they all had a total blast :) it was so good!!

going to take the kids out for a milkshake in about an hour, DS has his best friend here at the min, it's her birthday today, he was too nervous to go to her house (he's known her since she was 4, and her parents, and they live in our street but he doesn't like going to none family houses on his own)

Not much else going on at the min

Have a nice day all x

Hi K, just catching up with you - what a busy few days you've had.

The meal voucher is a great bargain, I'd have grabbed that pretty quickly as well. That's really nice of your Mum to lend you the money for driving lessons. Not sure when you're thinking of starting but when DD turned 17 and I rang to book her in, the earliest I could find somebody was 2 months after her birthday, so might be worth bearing in mind.

I think debt busting is all about balance and while the figures need to come down for all of us, still enjoying life should have a certain priority given to it as well, so if you like your holidays I'd definitely carry on saving for them. :)

Glad the birthday party was a success and you've enjoyed your week off. xx

The meal out with my mam was amazing :) such nice food!!

Yeah I was worried about that too, but can happily say (and nervously) that I have my first lesson booked in on the 10th May, so not too long to wait :) I will start revising for the theory :) I bought the app a few months back which has all the test questions on and hazard videos etc, so I will make sure I make myself have 30 mins a day maybe to read the highway code and do the mock tests

Exactly, and the CP holidays "only" require me to put £100 a month away which I don't think is too bad when you compare it to how much the debt gets :)

Just applied for my new photocard for my license, hopefully it will be here before my lesson lol

Mam has the kids today (they don't go back till next tuesday) and she was taking them to soft play (they got free passes with their birthday party)

I am dying to go home, I am shattered today lol, first day back and I didn't appreciate my alarm!

Have a nice day all xx

Hope it wasn't so bad when you got to work. Little one is back, but I am still off, which is good for me to have some time to sort things out in the house, but also a pain when having to get up and get us both ready when I could happily sit in my pjs for the morning.

It's weird how many different holidays there are this time. I wish we all just had the same, it would save me extra childcare that I really can't afford. x

It wasn't too bad, I had a horrible headache all of monday though that wouldn't go away!

Yeah I think it would be better if they were all the same, it's crazy cos the kids are only back 4 weeks and 4 days and then they are off for the May hols lol

Sooooo pleased it is wednesday (my last working day of the week) and yay for bank holiday :)

I have called on the bingo again, but don't think I will win (again lol) I will keep on trying, the usually announce it not long after 2

Not much planned for tomorrow, but we are hoping to go to Inflataspace on friday which is like two warehouses full of just a giant like bouncy castle/obstacle course, think that will be loads of fun, we are off to my aunties for dinner (about 18 of is) on saturday except hubby cos he has to work grr, then will be chilling the rest of the time

I started my diet on saturday and have been super good so I am hoping for good results this week, I will post my progress on here, cos it might keep me in check lol, I have been 100% on plan every day though which is good, I am just doing good old calorie counting, I fell out of love with slimming world, cos I can (and did) overeat on it still

Have a nice day all xx

    Woo Hoo!! xx

And I have removed London and USA from my siggie cos they are on pause for the minute :)
