Afternoon all, how is everyone doing???
Cannot wait for OH to be paid tomorrow and me on friday, March has been sooooooo long
I need to pay for the kids b'day party, and buy DD's birthday presents, me and mam are going to the theatre to see Jospeph (eek) and I've just booked a table at the thai restaurant that we wanted to try before the theatre, so April is going to be expensive too lol
I need to sort out OH's NUS card as my free YNAB runs out on 6th April, and we need it for amazon prime as well, just need money first to pay for it lol

Hi K
Clothing sizes are all over the place these days - kids and adults. Glad you're happy with some of the things and hope you manage to track down some jeans for DS.
I went to see Joseph about 30 years ago and it was fantastic, I'm sure you'll love it.
One pay packet in and one to goHave a great weekend. xx

Hello there!
Ive just read your diary and I'm desperate to know is your name a reference to something that I dont understand?
Also h&m are doing 20% off kids clothes at the moment. I find the trousers that are cut like jeans are great and i love the cheap dresses - my girls only ever want to wear dresses so loads at £2.99 and then 20% off and free delivery cant be wrong.
Keep up the good work xxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

I love Joseph it is one of my fav musicals
saw it about 15 years ago and loved it
Hiya kittenwell it’s actually a typo lol it’s meant to say ‘kind of a girl’ which is the name of a song by a band called tinted windows (Taylor Hanson is the singer in it and I am a massive Hanson fan)
I will have a look at H&M thank youxx

Me too nicnak, I am only off the first week, annoyingly OH work have him doing loads of stuff so looks like he can only possibly take next friday off which is annoying, but hopefully he can have that off then we are going to take the kids to Inflataspace (massive indoor bouncy place with loads of different things to bounce and play on)
My debts have come out already for this month, I am dying to update my siggie but I will do that tomorrow when I am off work
Bargain before, me and mam are going out for food before the theatre, and the place we are going sent an email offer, £50 gift card for the price of £30! we will deffo spend £50 so I bought that which is fab going!
Mam has offered to lend me the money for driving lessons (it's becoming harder to get to and from work with OH doing his teaching degree) so I need to renew my provisional and then get started with them, me and OH have said if I pass I will use our current car, and he will get a cheap banger (until we are debt free then he will get a better one)
Not much else going on today, have a nice day all xxDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Morning all.
Been updating YNAB this morning, and I am sooooo happy to say we are now in the £30k's for the debt woo hoo :j :j Been waiting so long to get into the £30's!!!
I've updated my siggie with that, the POAMAYC and the Mortgage amounts.
Not much else planned today, the weather is awful, keeps lashing it down, we had two storms in the middle of the night
I have a Joe's Sausage delivery coming this afternoon, so I need to sort my freezer out before then to make sure it will all fit in
I have made the very sensible decision to move our big holiday plans back a year, so London 2022 and America 2023, that gives us two years to just focus on budgeting, saving at a slower rate, meaning I won't have to do as much overtime, also if I manage to pass my driving test :rotfl: we will have to save for a car which is more vital at the moment than the huge holiday plans
We will still be going to Centre Parcs every may as that is "only" £100 a month that I need to put away, and we love the place and want to have a nice balance in life so don't want to cut out all hols lol
Have a nice day everyone xxDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

WOO! Well done on dropping into the next 10k bracket! It's a lovely feeling, isn't it?
I think you're right being cautious with the big holidays plans - we can't do it all so when it comes to making decisions about what's more important, you seem to have your head screwed on. The holidays will come. And I entirely agree with keeping Centre Parcs on the table - you guys need some down time so if you are able to keep it going while paying down the debt then definitely do!Sealed Pot Challenge 075
