Your menu always looks amazing! I love Mexican style food so the burritos and chilli really appeal to me!
Shame about the overtime, but nothing you can do. It'd be worse if you relied on that cash for bills so frustrating as it is, at least you'll cope with out it.
Hopefully that means the shifts will be delayed until a time when the systems are available? Another weekend?Sealed Pot Challenge 075

I haven't read your whole diary kindofagilr but just saw your post about your son, how awful for him going through that and thank goodness you have nipped it in the bud!
My son is 5 and loves youtube but I worry about the future with games and messaging and all that! I'll have to keep a close eye on his online activity!
Have you seen the boy's parents since? The boy needs help so hopefully he will get that now!0 -
Menus look tasty. I love mash...comfort food:)

It's definitely a worry these days, we don't let them add anyone that they don't know, and they aren't allowed to play games with open chats, we have two computer desks in the sitting room so we are always there, when they use YouTube it's on my accountLifeisforliving19 wrote: »Menus look tasty. Aww thanks, it has taken me years, I want to be able to make animals, one day I will. I love cross stitch too, it chills me out
The headteacher spoke to me at school on The way out, J has wrote DS and apology letter and has got him a present so now we need to decide if he will accept it, he wants to cos who doesn't love a present especially a child, I need to talk it through with OH, even if he does accept the letter i am not adding him on his computer again xxDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Mmmm, that's a hard one isn't it? A letter of apology is all well and good...but was it his own idea or was he forced by his parents? Hope they have not just brushed it under the carpet and they actually realise how serious it is and how much help J obviously needs. Hope it all resolves itself ok.DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)

I think it might have been his idea, but I do fear that it is being swept under the carpet, I don't think school are sweeping it under the carpet and he will be on their radar now, but I don't think he is going to be getting support at home
OH doesn't want to accept the letter, DS does, I am in the does camp, I want to know what the letter says, I said to OH even if DS takes the letter it doesn't change anything, they aren't going to be friends anymore, all three of us are final on that. So I told DS if the headteacher asks to tell him it's still being discussed
My petrol money hit the bank from overtime last week, so I have sent that to my next account, that I totally forgot I hadn't paid oops (I have it mainly for emergency clothes purchases and their sales, I love their sales).
Updated YNAB to show it coming in and back out, I feel a lot better as we definitely have the money for our normal shop this weekend and petrol (we probably don't need the petrol tbh)
Need to pop to the bank after swimming tomorrow, the branch is in the next town over where the kids have swimming, as the kids savings accounts I opened are now open, so we need to pay in their cheques from Christmas, I need to make sure we do it this weekend as I may be at work the weekend after
Just cashed in shop and scan points and got £20 amazon vouchers which I have put on my account, after this weeks points I will have £10 more, so I will request that on Wednesday when the points are added to my account. I used to keep them for Christmas but this last year they have gone out of stock now and again (they come back in) so I would hate to be relying on getting them and them be out of stock, safer to get them when I have points, I can then use them for birthdays instead
I am going to stick a wash in, then I am going to do Day 3 of T25, then chill and do some crochet, I didn't get any done yesterday as I had a stonking headache all day

Its a shame J is not likely to get much support at home. If that had been one of my children...who are now grown up...I would have been mortified and done all that I could to help them.DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)

I'm glad the school are taking it seriously and I hope they are keeping an eye as much as possible. As you say though, that needs to be balanced with support at home too. Hopefully his parents step up for J.
I'm with you on the letter front- I think he should accept it but everyone should be very clear on the fact that they will not be friends again. I'd be worried sick about the whole thing.
Good news on the Amazon vouchers. Is this a receipt scanning app?Sealed Pot Challenge 075

I know me too, hopefully I am wrong, and he is getting the support fingers crossed.Homegrown0 wrote: »I'm glad the school are taking it seriously and I hope they are keeping an eye as much as possible. I hope so too.
He's been so happy this weekend bless him, he's been able to be on his computer coding games on scratch junior (he loves making his own games) and not being made to feel guilty for not playing with someone
Yeah it's shop and scan, I recommend if if you can get onto it (they only take on people every now and then) they send you a barcode scanner, and when you do your food shopping, you scan the barcodes of the shopping and transmit them once a week, you get 1600 points a week and 10,000 is £10, you can get extra points with the occasional survey and they do triple points in the two weeks inbetween christmas and new year, so it works out at £90 a year ish
Kids had their swimming lesson this morning, they both did ace, we have @sda coming this afternoon instead of tomorrow, the washer has just finished so I need to put that on the radiators. Kids have just done their homework, so they both just need to practice their spelling each day, DS has Times Tables Rocks to do as well (they recommend 5 times a week, he loves it so that's fine lol)
Going to do day 4 of T25 once I have put washing on radiators, I usually do it first thing in the morning, but I wasn't feeling up to it.
And I am just having chips (home made cooked in the acti fry) with curry sauce for tea/dinner, I don't really fancy much else
I hope everyone is having a nice weekend xxDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)
