Thanks everyone again for your comments and different 'slant' on things. I still don't know what to do, if anything I'm even more confused now! My son does have friends here but doesn't seem to want to see them outside of school even though I have made it very clear that I would drive him into 'town' to see them if he made the arrangements to see them. He talks to friends 'back home' all the time but doesn't want to go back with me when I visit anymore although he did in the beginning. My mom and sister are visiting tomorrow so that is something I'm really looking forward too. I have a lot of thinking to do.
Thanks again to all

Do whatever makes you happy Weeze. If that means moving back to where you came, then so be it. Good luck.0

Update,
Hubby has been told there is no longer a fulltime job for him as they are offering him part time. After all the hrs both of us put into starting that business, unpaid I might add for 12 months it feels like a kick in the teeth. They have taken his business bankcard off him, in a sneaky way saying they needed it as the other company card was else where, and told him this saying that they'll still give him part time work and they still want to be friends! I am fuming, hubby feels so disappointed, frustrated, angry etc. The upshot is I have told him I want to sell up and move back! I'm about to phone some estate agents to come and give us an evaluation.
