I am going to get a photo of us together hopefully the day before mothers day ..I was going to buy a nice frame and printed up and give her that.

I realised we haven't been in a photo together for years ..
It wasn't my idea ..a really good friend suggested it ..But sounds like a keepsake that she would like :)

My kids usually dive on my bed on Mother's day morning with hugs and kisses and school made Mother's Day cards and then ask 'Can you get up now we're hungry!' And my parents usually take my kids out shopping the Saturday before Mother's Day to help them choose a little gift each for me - last year it was pink bed socks, a pink spotty oven glove, a pink head scarf and a pretty pink trinket box! All lovely but the home made cards are what I treasure the most and I have kept every one! mothers-day-1-mom-smiley-emoticon.gif

I'm getting my birth mother nothing, the same as every year, she put me in care as a kid, which is cool as it made me stronger being away from her and I learnt pretty young how to look out for myself, Instead I buy for the woman that looked out for me and who I call my surrogate mum, who has always been there for me no matter what I have done, often lots of naughty things, but she loves me regardless and treats my kids as her real grandchildren.

She will be getting what I buy her every year a lil plant with a cuddly attached to it and a big pick n mix! Ohhh and a big smooch for being so amazing!!! x

Aargh, you've just reminded me I need to get mother something (or several somethings) from the dog.
To replace the two handbags, three pairs of shoes, and assorted umbrellas that have gone for a burton in the last few weeks that she's been dogsitting for me.
Although her ideal present may well be another dogsitter.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
