Nothing.
I don't see my mum and my husband thinks it's a commercial holiday like Valentines Day and so won't get his mum anything either. That's also the reason I'm not getting anything from my little one courtesy of DH.

An embroidered picture that I did years ago that mum has always had her eye on. Plus doing out somewhere for the day and possibly cooking tea, haven't decided where yet as it's weather dependent. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I would like to give her my dad back. He died on Wednesday.0

Even the woman who invented it got fed up with its commercialization.0 -
Taking her out for a posh lunch... selfish in a way, as Dad, hubby and I also get to go out to a nice restaurant :rotfl:0

So sorry to read this comeandgo. Sincere condolences to you and your family.
My mum lives hundreds of miles away and I am her only child (well I am a woman now ) I send her flowers. I agree it is far too commercialised now and I am sick and tired of every email and every facebook post just now being about Mothers Day.
Sadly, I lost my dad when I was 17 and it really really annoys me come around Fathers day when the emails/notices start. I honestly feel like replying to them saying I wish more than anything I could buy my dad a present.
I am sure all these emails/posts etc can be quite upsetting for many people. I suppose the marketing people never ever stop to think about this? The best things in life are free.....0 -
So sorry for your loss, Hope you are bearing up as well as can be x#JusticeForGrenfell0
