Carrot cake in the oven

Thanks Lilty. Your posts always spur me on. :rotfl:
Did a quick what car valuation and private sale would be £11,031. Added that to my signature and my net debt less than £9k. How good do I feel!
My aim for next summer is to be at net debt zero all round and then start building up. Better get a wiggle on and stop moping around.

TOLD You Webuyanycar SUCK!!!
I am very much proud of you. I see no moping in that signature, or the fact that you just went off and re-calculated. That is pro-activity at it's best!
You sound more positive already. See what happens when you let other people weigh in their crazy ideas on what is filtering through your brain matter?

Thanks Lilty.
Just got to find me mojo and keep it there. Had backache yesterday and Miss SS was in a mood and Mr SS even more so. Woke up not feeling very positive. However have done a bit of DIY, baked some bread and just popped in here to catch up. I'm going to put my SuperDave outfit on and go and kick some @ss around the house now.

I am lacking on the mojo front this weekend too. And also have a Miss in a very bad mood. She's been locked in her bedroom repeatedly - by locked, I mean the door shut. This just motivated her to learn how to open the round handle. She can now get anywhere
Go for it SuperDave! I've cleaned the oven.... and cooked!?lol
xx

I am so impressed at oven cleaning. I could never have achieved that with a jelly tot around. I paid a couple of times for an oven cleaning service - that was pre - MSE !
I've got some mr mussel somewhere so that will be next weeks target.
Today we have finally finished little misses curtains. They were temporary and just pinned up but now they are turned up with some hem wonder they look fab. We will replace them soon, but til that day they look great.
Decluttering the kitchen next weekend and some more window painting.
Thanks for being mr motivator Lilty, it's really helped. :TOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Hi Supersaver, I notice I posted on page 1 of your diary about your car, and I stand by what I said
. However it obviously still bothers you. Ok, in an ideal world not having the car loan would be better than debt, particularly if you can't afford the repayments. But you have the car now. Could you live without it, full stop? If not, would you really be financially better off replacing it with, say, a £5k second hand car?
Don't focus on asset value vs loan. (unless you really are thinking about replacing it). Focus only on whether it's affordable; or worse than the alternative.
Otherwise, I agree. Post when it feels really hard, not just when you feel positive. That's what this forum is for!0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37

Hugs you! Oven cleaning is horrible, with or without a jellytot!
I have a bit of mojo, but I should probably tell that to the dinner pots in the sink:o:o

Thanks mf. Yes I love the car and it's affordable just. I wouldn't want an older one with MOTs and more expensive fuel, tax and insurance. It's now hit debt neutral ie not an asset but could sell it and recoup loan (thank you Lilty). Therefore I think I'll take it out of my sig altogether.
:):)
Lilty - oven still filthy sadly.

LOVE the new SIG
positivity in spades and that is what we like most of all in the battle against debt
Yum for homemade soup! Really need to do something about that. just remembered a kilo of chicken in the fridge with a best before date of today  - *shoves it in the freezer in separate packages* as I have lots of lentils and broth mix and a million types of tinned beans!
Very tired at the moment. Jellytots door is counterweighted with a bath robe tie attached to a huge bottle of persil tied to the handle and flung over the nearest piece of furniture. I spent the last two nights repeatedly being poked in the face and putting her back in bed only for her to be back again a few minutes or half an hour later. If she can't get out the novelty will wear off and she will just go back to bed. Normally I hear nothing for 12 hours!
Hope you have an excellent nights sleepxx
