Lol Lilty. You told us about the princess dress ;)

Just popping by to say hi.

Gosh it's all so busy, but in a good way. Am keeping positive and can see a good future. Things have slipped slightly. YNAB is nowhere near finished. Accounts need sorting out. But DH has work so we are heading in the right direction.

Things can only get better..... :T cmon everybody :T

Lol. Sorry about the lemon curd fest Lilt. I've just made some HM lemon curd with a new recipe. It's more like runny lemon sauce. Hope it sets as I need it for pud tonight.

I'm thinking of you all, thanks for calling by. I'll be running round the threads tomorrow to catch up. Good wishes to all. :):)

Happy to see you are well SS! Try not to let the accounts slip too much, but I'm pretty sure I'm preaching to the choir.

    Thanks KP. Will try.

Have just been to Leedels for first time in absolutely ages. Loved it, although had to go to MrA's for a top up after and spent far too much on rubbish. Only came to £40 in total, but an overspend is an overspend. We will not want for icecream for a little while :D

Been too 'busy' lately to call into MrL's. I guess it's because you always need another shop after. But I really have no excuse now as I work 5 mins from Eyesland, pounland and 99pee shops, so if I'm organised I can top up as I need to. Just bought the 25p (or 29p) onions in Mr L - what, why so low - it's gggggrrrrrreeeeaaaattttt!!!!

ANd even managed a catch up on my favourite TOWIE and Real Housewives of Cheshire. Yes, what is the inside of my head like - a cotton wool ball 😶

    Lol.

Bah! If you have a cotton ball brain then I have no idea about mine! I watch all sorts of rubbish, at this very moment I'm watching "My Granny the Escort"!

When I did my own shopping, I was lucky that a major supermarket and a discounters were across the road from each other so then I just went from one to another. I can see how you would want to not faff about that much.

Spent absolutely ages decoding your post by the way :rotfl:

    Hi SS

I put a post up about Daligas on my thread on Friday - they've brought a new 12 month fix out - called FIX12 and both the standing charge and kwh price is lower.

I phoned them up to ask about it and basically just need to submit a reading on the last day of my current contract and I'll be moved automatically to the new one - saving is about £6.50 a month :j

Zog still comes about £1 cheaper than that and looks like Energylinx are still doing cashback if you decided to move.

Hope that helps and you're having a good weekend :)

Oh dear, I have to send off some stuff about my course, check OHs insurance. Get some euros for DD plus a multitude of other things. I need a night in to do it all.

Thanks for the tip off Ali. And KP, what are you like :rotfl:

Sorry I'm a stranger lately, so much going on, struggling to keep up, but all going well.

    :D

Must do my signature soon. Xx

Ooh and have got to claim CHB :)

Good to see you posting SS and glad all going well.

Let's hope CHB goes up a bit more in the budget, few more pennies always useful :)

  • Thanks Ali. 2 out of 4 ain't bad. Still got to fill in the CHB form, get some euros, phone the insurance about my lost bracelet and of course do my homework.

    I've decide a long list won't work, so it's a short do-able one for a change. :D
