Oh goodness what am I like. Been a little stressy about the forthcoming SE. Just don't like getting into more debt, I know it's an investment but it feels like we've been here before (oh Jesse...every time I get back on my feet...paint your picture...). It's our last chance, I have no more energy.
Bit behind with homework too after my being poorly for so long. Damned winter bug. So think it's all playing on my mind.
Tomorrow is another day and start up costs fairly low for an enterprise that could make our fortune. :rotfl:
Did a silly thing and applied for Sainsbugs loan then realised MSE has eligibility calc which put us as 20% chance but halibugs at 95%. Too late. Sainsbugs approved in principle but not at offer rate, so have to wait for letter. If we apply for halibugs a marker will show and also want to try barcs. All on tenterhooks but things moving steadily.
Decided to await letter before applying halibugs.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Just had to tweet that I washed the kitch floor today. Not just a little mop over but a great big scrub a dub dub, suds everywhere. Spring is here.
Tackling the oven next.
Gosh it's a roller coaster of emotions. But am staying positive. Just looked at the CCs under £14k when the 1st March payments go out. Almost felt depressed about it but then realised that in 2011 they were almost £25k. Sad that things have happened again to put a spanner in my planning, but maybe it's a good spanner and it will Rev things up.
Definitely need a new thread as it's the next chapter. I had a very calm feeling this morning, haven't felt like that for a long time. I need to just catch up on a few things first. Bear with me folks and I hope everyone is well and bearing up too. The DF forum is the best as are the people :T:T:TOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

I believe we are doing the right thing, although it goes against my MSEing to start borrowing more money. But you have to invest in a business and sometimes you just have to take that chance. I really believe this is the right thing for us as a family. We probably should have done it a long time ago, but I think DH has had to get to this point by himself. A bit like an MSE light bulb moment.
Hopefully I will be able to keep him on track financially and he is so much better these days. I have to keep my wits about me and steer him if he needs it. I'm looking forward to starting a new thread very soon and look forward to having you along.;)
ps for anyone who is interested, I just had an email advertising a great TED talk about why we all need to practice emotional first aid. Just watched it and I think I may have found the way to cure my constant worrying and putting myself down. Lets see how it goes - wouldn't that be good. :TOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Ooh would love to know more about the emotional First Aid and great you've benefited from it already. Does sounds like something I could learn from too.
Nodding in agreement about DH getting to his own lightbulb moment and also about SE. Have to speculate to accumulate and investment, whilst borrowing, should be good borrowing and show its own return. Getting the office in the summer was scary and an ongoing cost, but the return has been so well worth it.
Just beware the 'wolf in sheeps clothing' of expenses - I used to think it sounded great getting tax relief on expenses, bottom line was it came off the turnover and therefore lowered profit anyway and in turn 'take home' pay. I'm sure applying MSE principles and all your knowledge you'll keep a check on that and OH. But it is a trap I fell into in the beginning. I got stuff I didn't really need for start up. I don't anymore though.
It's a new baby - exciting, never stop thinking about it and in the early days it can take over everything. Make sure you and OH switch off from it - I'm bad at checking emails, leaving my phone switched on blah blah. I need to take my own advice too :rotfl:
Hope you're having a fab weekend.Back on the DFW Wagon:
