Thank you Broggy. Yes really exciting times.

Car wise, I've paid over half so now down to about £9.5k. Could kick myself for getting rid of my lovely Polo and what I could have done with the £12k it costs to drive a new Golf for 3 years (and still not own it!). However, it's done now and I'm never getting a new car again. This one is going to have to last a long long time. :D

Love your looking back post SS, great to see how far you've come and the changes moving forward. Look after those wing mirrors now they're yours :rotfl:

Sending lots of good luck vibes for OH's business - and if there's anything I can help with on the SE front, feel free to shout. :)

I'm salivating at the Lemon Cake, nom nom. My fave and Lemon Curd might just see it's way onto the shopping list this week :D

Ooh under pressure now to sort the gas :rotfl: ;)

Have a lovely Sunday - hope it's a gorgeous sunny one there as it is here :)

I'm loving this, my £830 quid of points is earning 10% and more importantly the points are safe if my card were to be stolen.

Just a shame I always have to search google for the link to log in. Once logged in this is the link:

Have just reposted this as I can't find it any other way. Many thanks - I never know what to do with my nectar points as I never have that many. I'll be saving them for something now. :-)

And this one looks worth looking into. I have a few thousand American Airlines points that I can't seem to use.

I can't believe that guy has £830 of points!! :D 10% is a good return!

Will have to look but just spent all the points I accrued so far this year on a princess dress and some Gu :rotfl:

I am loving the lemon cake. I've got lemon curd in the fridge so I think this will be made on Tuesday as one of the two cakes I am making for MiL's birthday :)

Great looking back post. It has been a rough year but you have come through it intact, with a fab new job, a tonne of confidence back, and a lovely new start to look forward too.

As for the car... lesson learned. I think we all need to buy a new car once.. just once. And then realise that it isn't all it is cracked up to be. In my case, my ex couldn't be dissuaded from spending £12500 on a brand new Corsa, 05 plate. By 2008 it had been written off by a drunk uninsured driver who fled the scene leaving his bumper embedded in what was left of the car, complete with the numberplate. Which had just been reported 5 minutes earlier for a drink driver leaving the local pub, by the landlady... sigh. He won't ever be buying again!! ;)

Anyways... you are, as always.. riding high. :D Keep on going. things can only get better and I sincerely hope that this time next year, DH is as happy and confident as you are! xx

So much progress SS! You're really quite amazing.

Don't worry about the student loan too much, it's just another part of getting to your goal.

I bought 2 jars of lemon curd and 24 eggs today. And there are 2 slices of cake left. What have you done?!?! :rotfl:

Jellys princess dress doesn't fit me :p (did I show you that!?) but I would buy one to go to have high tea somewhere super posh! :D

Sleep tight.. keep plodding. And do not post more easy recipes for random things I have in the cupboard please... :rotfl: xx
