Wow ! You wouldn't know it was the same place! Sad that the agents didn't do their job properly the first time round - once you've sold, yo might consider showing them this thread so they can see what people thought of their presentation skills the first time round!

Lessons learnt and all that :). Like I said, it's my first time actually selling a property so a complete noob to this side of things.

The thing is though Steve it is not the EA's first time and they should know how to do their job properly. Hopefully they will agree to share some of their commission with us good folks on here. :)

Agree it's not their first time. Should have been that good from the start.
Floorplan should be up by Monday.

    That looks so much better.

  • All I would do now is put some contrasting cushions on the sofa as it's a bit dark. Much better though you need to inject a bit of warmth into it.

    Update for you.

Since the new photos have been up, there has been a lot more interest and a lot more viewings - we've had offers made too. A few have been stupidly low, playing the "cash buyer" route. My EA even laughed at one of them.

We've been doing a few bits and pieces to make it look nicer too - new flooring in the kitchen, bathroom and WC, fresh paint in the lounge, bathroom and WC & a new bath panel.

Still a WIP but it's obviously working.

Great that you're getting more viewings etc. But still no floorplan! That EA needs a serious kick up the !!!!!

Hope someone makes a decent offer for you soon.

Just a tip for the outside photos, if possible, take them at different times of the day, so they always look sunny. At 4.42m (14' 6") x 6.10m (20' 0"), I'd describe the Lounge as a Lounge/Diner instead. The bedrooms are a really good size too, and a floor plan would make this clearer.
